I'm not going to go for huge power and would prefer to stay DI only.
I put a Dorch Stage 2 on my previous B58 which allegedly flows better than the tu supra HPFP and wondered why no one made something similar for the Supra.
If this turns out to be vapourware then I'll look at PI in the future.
PI is the same price as an hpfp. I don't know why people bother with hpfps when port injection tion is available honestly. big power or not. hpfp you have to constantly worry about its limits

Yeah, people blow my mind with this. I have no idea why anyone would choose this option.

Because it "seems" easier on its face. Unbolt the old one, plug in the new one. 20-minute job. But, as always: the HPFP providers prey on the appearance of ease and are not especially forthcoming about other limitations lurking beyond.

Me personally, locked ecu with no intentions of using piggy back controllers. You folks act like everyone has unlimited funds and and interest in 800+hp.
A lot of us are looking to maximize OEM+ capabilities. Direct parts swapping upgrades. “Bolt ons”
Interested if the factory port injection on B58TU2 can be ported over, potentially able to swap to the B58TU2 DME and get fueling headroom.

You'll still need tuning to leverage the headroom of the HPFP.

this will cost more than port injection and HPFP put together and require even more programming, lol. Strange recommendation in the same sentence with budgets and funds.

lol, I was going to say the same thing...

"You folks act like everyone has unlimited funds" then proceeds to talk about swapping ECU's, port injection, etc.

Availability is a function of cost.
Quality is a function of cost.
I define OEM design as a function of quality, and would only deviate to aftermarket if the component is robust and cost effective.

I’m not saying swapping all the B58TU2 stuff will be cheaper (if it were possible)

I am trying learn from the knowledgeable folks on here about limitations of factory equipment so I can define the minimum viable product for my goals while searching for the most OEM like solutions…nothing I said above was a contradiction, you just don’t know my goals.
