I hated ecutek when I had my BRZ. But might be different with the Supra. Who knows? is there a cold start delete offered?

Did you tested the MHD stage 2 on a dyno? Just to compare.
That's the lower number on the screen. Dyno Dynamics read way lower than what most are used to. On a dynojet, it was 440/490

From your point of view. Do you think the reason for the unequal spreading of meth in the cylinders is from the design of the manifold? Or from the location of the methanol jet? (For example, if we moved the methanol jet further away from the manifold. it has more time to mix with air. Which will eventually spread equally to all cylinders? assuming that the manifold design is perfect.) Or are there other reasons?
This is a complex answer.

One part of it is when you go around bend the fluid seperates from the mixture and you wet the wall. This happens on every bend, and every surface you go around "baffles" the fluid. This is a highly debateable toppic but shooting meth post intercooler is typically more ideal to prevent the baffeled effect. Direct port meth is the way to go. Or port fuel injection for a quality gain. However cooling charges work better further away. So you can still cool the charge a bit with a nice charge pipe inlet. I may plumb mine back in with a heavy water mix just for cooling down the road. But my temps arent all that bad on my pure setup.

Went from MHD stage 2 to Ecutek yesterday. This is on a dyno dynamics, so it'll look lower than what most are used to, but the jump in powet is huge. Planning on hitting the dynojet I usually tune on, on tuesday.

Burble is back to how it was stock. Definitely pulls harder, but it feels much smoother. As much as I enjoyed the obnoxious pops, I think it suits the car better being less bangy.

I think I do like this more.

As I mentioned earlier, my fluid injection to suppress detonation experience dates back to my first car, a '71 Mercury Capri 2.0 on which I eventually installed an Ak Miller Rayjay turbo. In college a friend repurposed my windshield washer to squirt water down the secondary barrel of the 2V Weber downdraft carb under boost. As Mr. Spock would say, it was "crude but effective." The water vs. meth injection debate has gone on for decades. Alcohol does seem to offer advantages over straight water but I think the primary benefit is charge
Honestly I don't even remember I would have to check. I am actually about to go flush my fuel system and throw some ACN91 in to test some stuff. but its somwhere around 24-28PSI if I had to guess.
When you quote boost figures are you talking about charge pipe pressure pre-intercooler or manifold pressure post-intercooler? When I look at my logs there is a huge difference on the order of 10 psi.

This is another complicated quesiton. The engine works by boost presure in the charge pipe. When i quote my boost it is with the throttle blade at full open, and the charge pipe pressure. As the intake manifold pressure sensor log item maxes out at 2560mbar on the OEM logging. Some platforms do extend this.

late last week I migrated my car back to ACN91 to do some testing. I ran my car at ~2600-2750mbar absolute pressure in 105-115F ambient temps at 1400-1700FT Elevation. So thats at ~24-26PSI completely maxing out my OEM fuel system. I finally got some time to revise my base maps a bit.

I can definitely support that. We'll be able to get much more out of this car with Ecutek than with MHD right now. MHD might put some more juice in their tunes later, but for right now, Ecutek is the way to go.

Does anyone know if we can code the backup camera to always turn on when we hit the parking sensors (if your car comes with it).

What sort of exhaust gas temperature are you seeing under those conditions?
