Not a Corvette.
I guess some guys think Amsoil is also "garbage oil". It is not.
Here's an example of their oil advice:
"
Engines are Built to Use a Certain Viscosity of Motor Oil
Today’s advanced engines are built with much tighter tolerances than their predecessors. The clearances between the crankshaft journals and main bearings are tighter, for one. This is purposely done to allow modern engines to use lower-viscosity motor oil, like 0W-20 and even 0W-16.

Yes, lower-viscosity oils reduce internal friction since they flow more easily than higher-viscosity oils, improving fuel economy.

Too thick may not flow quickly enough to fill the spaces between the crank journals and main bearings while the engine is running.

The oil won’t form a consistent lubricating film, allowing metal-to-metal contact and wear. If your engine was designed specifically to use a lower-viscosity oil, in this case 0W-20. Its lower viscosity allows it to flow faster and fill the tiny clearances between parts, leading to a durable, consistent lubricating film.

And since thicker oil doesn’t transfer heat as well as thinner oil, operating temperatures will increase, possibly leading to accelerated chemical break down (called “oxidation“) and harmful sludge and deposits."

Bottom line: Your stock Supra's engine will NOT self-destruct if you use the mfr's recommended oil. In fact, it may outlive us all.
First we had the Chat GPT king, now we have the copy-pasta king.

Give this guy the copy-pasta knowledge medal. It's all he does when challenged, which makes things even more laughable.

"Google, tell me how to beat these guys!"

Alright relax, liqui moly isn't garbage alright, its mediocre and overpriced compared your average walmart brand, happy? Your welcome for making another oil thread lol
I used to use Mobil 1 in jugs at Walmart in my older vehicles, but it does not have the required certs for my Supra.

If I'm waiting in the customer lounge and see/my car leaving the shop with smoke coming from the tires, I'll never go there again.:) After the two free oil changes, I'll be changing the oil/filter myself.

haha, I think I’m going to keep it stock for a bit! Maybe an exhaust. Any recommendations?
Depends if you want a loud obnoxious one or just one that flies under the radar? Also I would say go for a catless downpipe first then exhaust. much better.
