Dang the concept version is bigger than I thought!
It's got supercar proportions at least though. I don't mind the width since it looks so awesome but I hope it loses some length for production model.

Both the Viper and the C7 do not have backseats. i would remove those from the comparison if talking only about dimensions.

Can you add weight #s too? Maybe more competitors too like 911?
GT6 has the FT1 listed at 2,910 pounds!

I updated my post with the weights. I'll grab the 911 info later.

I didn't realize how big the FT-1 is, not having seen it in person. Man that 2,910 weight would be incredible but doubt the production version comes close.

Lol a concept does not have to worry about any crash test or safety regulations. That's where most of the weight gets packed on.

I don't think we will see it decrease much in size when it goes to production. That's right about where it should be for a 2+2 sports car. It is still shorter than the new Mustang.

Back seats are a must, so keep it that size. My 2c. I'd rather it be big than a 2 seater.

Agree. Lots of ppl want those bucket backseats even if they're only good for bags and children. Gotta make the car appeal to as many ppl as possible.

@supraninja can you add the 911, M4 and RC-F too? I think there's going to be some cross shoppers from at least the BMW and Lexus camps.

Toyota knows how to grab car lovers attention lol. Insert some sick specs into GT6, sit back and watch the online forums analyze what the specs means if anything :)

If the FT-1 stays the same size or doesn't come completely stripped out it'll be well over 3k pounds.

So Supra will stay the size of the FT-1 concept?
Can't remember where I read but someone at Toyota said it'll be something like 10%(?) smaller. It's long because it's sitting on a Lexus RC platform which won't be the case with the production car.

You woudln't know better than a Toyota rep right? Well someone in the company said it'll get a size reduction so I'll take his word. An FR-S is a 2+2 and it's much smaller than this so that makes no sense either. The new Mustang even grew in size over the last one no? So that's no car to target to beat on size.
