Oh yea, for sure tell them to get F'd.The dealership mentioned they were willing to add this as a “free feature,” but it hasn’t been installed yet. After looking into it further, it feels a bit too “big brother” for me. Since I’m financing through my credit union, there’s no requirement for this, and I’m not sure I want it installed. I’m also really concerned it could draw power from the battery if the car sits in the garage for extended periods.

Yes, I used to install these every PDI at my dealership. We stopped because they would drain the battery. It’s a tracker for the dealership. We would need to register them on the website ikon website before installing them and on the site it would show a map of all the registered devices.
