How did you mount your amp and how did you get the signal for it?

the amp POUNDS despite its small size. It is small enough that I tucked it away in space near the stock amp. So, you don’t see the amp at all. I used a Technic PnP harness to grab the signal. Made things much easier.

How do you take the rear pillar panels out where the tweeters are? I think I'm still getting a buzzing sound from the woofers coming through them. By the way, thanks for all of your help...almost vibration free after doing your recommendations.

Did everything that was recommended from this guide along with the Dynamat. It’s a huge difference in sound! Shoutout to @tadda and whoever that also contributed!

The only problem I had was lining up the wadding, there’s really not much room to play with even with a long screwdriver. I wasn’t sure if I even covered all the necessary areas.

what about just stuffing poly-fil (lose wadding) in thru the metal holes. Would that work or the wadding needs to be stuck together So it’s not a mess ?

im keeping an eye on these guys for the extra subwoofer. I like the set up on the sidewall

I wonder if running that amp to the factory JBL subs would make them hit even harder than they do now?

I suspect it would be way more power than they can handle. I think helium-like magnets and lightweight paper make them a bit limited.

Just ordered the items to complete this upgrade. I have the weathertech cargo liner. Any concern about it interfering with the port holes? It looks like it will cover a portion of the hole? I presume the only thing I may get is a vibration from the edge of the cargo liner.

Thoughts?

I also have the Weathertech liner and did the mod last night. It does cover about half of the hole but I couldn’t tell the difference between having the liner on or off, it sounded the same to me. What I will say is that doing this mod is well worth it, the system thumps now and it sounds clean. All I’m missing now is the speaker mesh and it is complete

For anyone in the South Florida area that’s interested. I can sell the speaker wadding and foam already cut to specs for $30 which is already cheaper than you would spend online on these items and without the wait. Also cuts out most of the work.
