Who is interested in a real functioning dipstick for our cars? I have a bolt on solution that requires zero modifications and is a simple 5 min install (when changing your oil). I will have pictures of everything installed once I change my oil. Price point is probably going to be around $100 for everything. I was thinking about making a couple extra kits depending on interest. So ya, who is interested?

Edit - post 39 has pictures

List of those who are interested. Will need to know black or silver from each of you.

I'd like to see the setup and what's involved in adding this. I'm definitely interested.

I’ll buy this immediately. Stupid sensor failing.

Interested. Good opportunity for a shop to make a solution for this

I’m definitely curious. Will the pan need to be tapped from the top?
Ill be curious about placement etc because structurally drilling an aftermarket hole into the pan etc is going to structurally weaken it.

only when changing oil?
No, he's saying the install of this solution is best done at the same time you're doing an oil change -- you have the filter out, and the filter cover removed. I'm speculating that it's some sort of spacer between the engine block and the threaded oil filter housing.
