My only issue with the motor mounts is the NVH at idle, will say it's gotten better or I'm getting used to it. As for the transmission mounts, they're not going back on. They were too much NVH with and without the motor mounts. I think if someone came out with a lower durometer, believe the yellows are 70, I'd give them a try.

Thanks for the reply! Do you feel the floppy throttle feeling is improved just by the engine mount?

I've had the powerflex motor mount inserts on for a while now. The NVH is annoying at idle, but this is the very next step up from OEM so i'm just going to deal with it.

Also have the powerflex transmission mounts (yellow) going on sometime this coming week.

Someone in the thread said if you just mount the bottom part of the inserts, it would not introduce that much NVH but provide 80% of the stiffness. I'm going to give it a try.

yeah that’s what I did. Big improvement. Only NVH is at idle when the AC cycles but even then it’s not much at all. 100% would do again. The trans mounts however were wayyyy too much nvh so I took em out.

Installed the transmission mounts, and haven't gotten any increase in NVH. I might be going crazy, but the NVH from the motor mount inserts feels like it's slightly decreased after installing the transmission mounts. That makes no sense and i'm sure it's all in my head, but i guess all that matters here is that i didn't experience any increase in NVH

That's wild because the powerflex trans mounts I installed increased NVH so much the steering wheel would vibrate. Are you manual or automatic?

Auto. And just to be clear i have the yellow ones not the black ones. But i expected at least some incremental NVH from those.

Thanks for the response - yeah I had the yellow ones as well but I am manual... I'm assuming the autos buffer out NVH more than manuals... hell I'm starting to think the manuals just have a lot more power/drive train slop in general. ?

I don't know if that's true, but if it is, look at the brightside: you just got more bang for your buck from these mounts!
