probably a dumb question, but can i clone my post 6/20 ecu to a pre 6/20 ecu then just do a bench unlock, and go with MHD? or do i still have to send to FEMTO for something.

in order to clone the ECU, you need the OEM files off the said ECU to use in the cloning process of the other ECU. FEMTO is the only company currently that has the ability to read and save the OEM files off of the post 6/2020 ECUs.

Yes, it has to go to FEMTO.

thank you for the info. who is the go to for cloning after the FEMTO unlock then? i assume FEMTO gives you the file.

I did the unlocker this afternoon and setup some basic multi maps (for different octanes)

It was all very slick with no issues. ?

the only minor prob is I need to use BimmerCode to disable the OBD detecting connection setting off car alarm as leaving the Wi-Fi dongle in car sets it off the instant you lock car
Do you have to leave the dongle in the whole time you are driving it or (obviously) just when flashing it? After you have set everything up, can you change maps for example without the dongle being in the OBDII port?

Only need it for the flash. I leave it in to datalog when needed.

With MHD+ is there an advantage to go the cloned ECU and Ecutek route?

Can you do a clone ECU with a MT Supra?

No real advantage unless whatever tuner you want to use refuses to use anything other than Ecutek.

On stage 2 OTS 91 map auto, noticed a lag between gears when I shift up. Mostly from 3rd to 4th. Is this normal due to the power jump from stock?

Did you notice if you were losing traction at all? I've noticed that If the car detects any sort of wheel spin it will not shift as fast. Since you increased the power there is a good chance you are losing traction.,

Probably throttle closing but almost impossible to tell without a log.

I remember experiencing exactly the same on my MHD Stage 2 tune. Putting it in “traction mode” and getting an xhp tune got rid of the lag for me.

Hello Guys,

I'm trying to figure out the exhaust settings in MHD+. I drive a MT and have a custom tune. 200 cel catted DP, OEM exhaust.

Sorry but I do enjoy some pop + bangs - not in an obnoxious way in a residential area (normal mode = 0 bangs) but on the freeway and so on (Sportmode). Reliability of my engine is also very important for me though. So which settings should I be a bit more careful with and which settings are usually fine ? Or are all fine unless I crank them all to the max ?

I was thinking about a 0,7 or 0,8 second duration and medium aggressiveness. Is this fine for the components ?

Did a pull today - could someone do a quick review and see if anyone notices anything off or anything that might need tweaking? Occasionally (not often), I get an AFR code for it being too rich.
93 Oct, AA DP, Pure 800, S58 injectors, xHP Map 2 (w/ ignition cut shifting), & an MST intake.

AFR looks pretty on target to me. What about that fuel rail pressure dips? Anyone know if that's normal? That would normally be concerning to me but I can't say for sure with this setup
