Not sure if this is already a known bug, so ignore if this is on the list of bugs to address. But maybe 25% of the time AA won't load (stuck on connecting) when I start it for the first time (eg. get in car, start, let phone connect). It always works after a 'restart' of AA on the headunit. Phone side says it's connected to car so feels like it's on the headunit side. Can grab logs if this isn't known.

Yeah please send the logs over in DMs if you can. It might be that the renderer service isn't coming up immediately. It's on a 60~ second wait timer if it's not up when AA is started.

remount the filesystem as RW, drop into hu-omap, make sure nbt-aad isn't running (and you triggered force stop).

Move the shared object in the NbtAad plugins directory, then remove the whole folder. QNX won't let you delete a .so directly in use.

Afterwards a good ol' rm -r /opt/aa/

I can add an uninstall guide later, but it's pretty much the update process, but instead of copying files from the flash drive, you delete them instead
Oh ok, pretty straight forward. Might give it a shot this weekend then.

I was going to hold off since I have an MMI but having navigation in the dash piqued my interest.

Very exciting and impressive project. Fingers crossed I can make my HUD more useful one day. Great work, y'all. <3

@nanaisu @a90.faz Well done Androids.. this is moving very quickly! Question: Can I use https://ssh.bavarian-aa.uk/ to SSH into my car to change images in the infotainment display?
I have enabled ssh with that tool and yes you should be able to. but it temporary every time you need to ssh you will have to run the tool to enable It

@nanaisu - dude, been seeing Etsy and Ebay sale posts for this. Is that you?
They want $59.99 for appointment and handholding.

Been following the same thread on reddit and Github, will try on my 2022 3.0 Premium US model soon. Reminds me of ECU flashing with Bootmod3.

Nope, I don't do sales at all. I've got an optional donation link in GitHub, but that's it -- and thank you to everyone who's sent in them ♥ I greatly appreciate it. I've tried to pay it forward and have got some friends some gifts and sent in a donation to the American Cancer Society.

I've thought about sales as a means to kill the market, like $10 install, but I don't feel it's at a sellable state imo. It might just be me being a perfectionist... I also don't know that I could keep up with the support demand. I've tried my best to keep up with GitHub issues and man. It's wiping me out.

Some people are incredibly scummy. Best I'm hoping for is word of mouth to pick up and people being like "uh no, why would I pay you $XX-XXX to do this, it's free".

All's I'll ever ask of you guys is to:
1. Provide feedback as to how we can try to make it better, be it through supporting logs, submitting PRs with new features, or just helping others.
2. Spread the word, be it on Facebook, Instagram, whatever. Organic reach goes pretty far, and it pisses of sellers (especially if you say you can get it for free at XYZ place).

I'm in the process of getting the copyright approved so I can send formal takedown requests to Facebook/Instagram/Etsy/eBay/whoever and get them ToS violations. I've gone back and forth on if I should add a logic bomb in there that detonates if the "if you paid for this you've been scammed" section is removed... But I don't feel that's right as some people are genuinely getting scammed & ripped off here, and the last thing I want is a product they paid for to stop working...

Dude, thought so. Sheesh. I'll stick to your Github and point others to donate there.
Appreciate your efforts here. It's getting some traction on the Supra groups I am in.

Not to derail the thread (further) but I finally got SSH to play ball.. it was a routing issue for anyone else having trouble with .. I ended up routing all 168.x traffic to the Ethernet and hot-spotting via Bluetooth so that SSH Bavarian could still connect to the Internet.
