Yeah, to have space for the A90 Supra I'd need to sell my Benz before depreciation really hits hard - and I won't do that until I have some reasonable idea of what we're getting in the A90.

Will be a used one in a few years now.

Wow.

Thanks Guff for sharing, but this is terrible news.

Like someone else said, those specs are a $40k car, not a $60k car. I think I'm out of this supra waiting game.

The BMW M2 is looking better and better... a used RCF is looking better and better... Its time to upgrade my daily driver and I'm done waiting.
Make sure you drive the RCF extensively, love the Lexus brand in every way, but it is a totally different car than the M2...

Totally agree A70, started with terrible news, but now is a perfect opportunity for Toyota to jump in with some good news...:)
Can't a Toyota PR come and be like

What's listed in the opening post is not true. Whoever provided the info is on a smear campaign.

With that being said, what ya'll are anticipating is coming. I can't give final details but considering what you are expecting, we can say you are on the money. Please wait a little longer

BMW Z4 specs and Supra specs come out same day....
One is official and one isn’t....
Coincidence
Z4 sales have been subpar compared to the Cayman...Toyota is making a car to compete with the Cayman....Supra is outrunning the Z4 at the Nurburgring track....

The question to ask is why would you buy a BMW that wants to attract Porsche buyers when I can the Supra for less money and “faster” track time.....

I think Pebble beach is what to pay attention too. the reveal of the Z4 should shed some light on some things. Especially price and fake vents. I would have been worried about this unconfirmed specs but the price is what gave it up.

Subaru and Toyota -> BRZ = FRS

BMW and Toyota -> Z4 =/ Supra

Toyota learned a bit from the contract they had with Subaru. When teaming up with BMW, terms are different.

Enjoy.

If you read back to the specs released on the BMW insider from February. It does match on a lot of things. So lets hope this is not the case or Toyota is crazy.

This whole topic of bad news and lack of actual facts, well extremely frustrating, is somewhat interesting from the point of view what Toyota is doing or not doing...

What I mean is, because to-date they have not come out with anything to challenge the false statements flying around, is that the right approach? Are they losing sales because potential buyers are leaving and buying other cars based on incorrect information? As Modal170 said, should they address this now and while not giving away all the facts, at least send out some positive message?

Man....its like a virus, spreading like crazy, maybe we should have Guff and admins put some controls in place to stop making the info here public?
It's okay, let the news be heard, be it fake or true. Basically, at this price, no one is happy about it and having more sources spreading this information of the high price and unhappiness will make sure Toyota takes notice.
