Ha...my internal calendar has already flipped to '24. :D

I'm planning to run OLOA again - I'm on the 80-ish car "accepted" list for '24, which filled up in about an hour. My co-driver is one of my LeMons teammates, and assuming his wife doesn't kill him between now and then, it will be fun to enable another first-timer. I'll probably leave the car as is and just throw on some RE71RS this year and send it.

If you aren't spending money on coilovers, then your plan seems solid. HKS springs and rear wang.

Danny Kao did One Lap last year and was competitive with a basic setup and stock power (although he did have MCS coilovers)

Brian is a pro shoe. Sounded like a survival game from Danny

I've also seen "BossBossRacing" on instagram pushing S3 coilovers, which seem very attractive for their price (Similar to Fortune Autos).

Have you any thoughts on the brand?
The boss boss racing guy (mike) is my homie. If you have any specific questions you need answered from him, I'll shoot him a text. He is a great driver with a very well setup car. I was actually the reason he got a supra haha.

I'm the wrong person to ask. I've done the budget coilovers and now after having MCS I can't go back.
MCS family rise up, I love mine as well. It is incredible to have 3x the stock stiffness in springs but not riding noticeably worse than stock.

Anyone from the PNW in this thread? If so, what organizations are up that way? I don’t see anything for NASA, SCCA or even CHIN.

Also any information on Circuit of the Northwest? Seems like they broke ground, but don’t see any progress photos.

If you’re looking for TT the PNW has struggled to maintain any series. NASA has no presence, SCCA will likely do an event or two. ongrid is about the only group with a calendar.

For HPDE there’s plenty of options depending on where you’re looking to run. not much that happens in the winter except Turn2 will run a few winter days when the weather is nice.

I haven’t heard anything new about COTN but they’ve sure been asking for money a long time now.

Portlands not a bad spot. PIR is here, the Ridge, ORP, and Pacific are all ~2.5-3 hours away. T-hill about 7 hrs. NWAA, skip day, Team continental, and others also have opportunities to run at the various tracks. Most on msreg.

I think I am going to commit to Bimmerchallenge for 2024, planning on running B3 class. I know @Evolution also has plans. It’s all California tracks and one event in Las Vegas. Any one else interested?

Supra in B3 is tough, you would have to be completely stock basically. You’ll only have 2 points in mods, you have 2 way MCS which puts you at the limit of B3. What tire? Most 200tw tires will be another 2 points.

All I have thats point worthy is suspension. My tires are ECF and are not on the points list. No aero, no brakes, no tune, no DP, no weight reduction. They should (but wont) even give me a point reduction for being manual as it is clearly a disadvantage for time attack.

The new verus prototype is my favorite so far, similar ducted path I’ve been using, just without louvre, and worse sealing.

The sealing isn't finalized yet. Eric definitely wouldn't let it go like that.

it would surprise me if it wasn't finalized, their consumer product lines are generally 70-80% functional on release.

I’ve got an extra set of bnib Spage fender vents that I don’t need if someone wants to buy them. Ended up buying an entire second Spage hood instead.

They are by far the nicest design on the market imo. Lead time is usually ages if you can even order them.
