Hi All. Thanks for the approval. I am tracking my '26 next weekend at Sebring. I may do the TT since I'll be instructing and it's an option. Does anyone have a good location to mount the transponder? I have to say, I haven't even been under the car to look...
I mount mine to the lower grill.

The transponder will work fine in your cup holder. We just tell people in our org to mount it outside of the car bc most people will drive off forgetting to return them. When they’re mounted outside, they usually see them at the end of the day when people are loading or airing back up.

I see some people mounting it to a tow hook which is fine… until rescue needs to hook up to it.

I just zip tie mine to the grill in the main heat exchanger area off to the side. I've also seen people zip tie them to the front tow hook (or rear tow hook).

I'm part of the rear-tow hook gang. I put it there so I see it/don't forget to return and I've (knocking on wood) never been towed from the rear loop.

I wouldn’t put it there cause it’s right above the exhaust.

Not this fucking shit fuck stupid forum.
Car(s)
Not a Corvette.
I ran them on my M240i with the larger 374mm front rotors/calipers and bed them in like a maniac like I always do. Brand new rotors. Did three track days and they shuddered all three days. Sometimes so bad that the whole car was shaking. That said, they did slow that 4,000lb boat down lap after lap.

Yeah mine was shaking pretty bad too, I bed them in quite thoroughly as well. Did it ever go away for you? I'm not optimistic it'll get better. Everything else is good though for the value

The OTS tune is locked down so you can't take an OTS tune and modify it. Yes a custom tune can have the pedal torque request table adjusted. My custom tune has a pedal that drives like OEM non-sport mode and I love it. Super easy first 1/3 of the pedal. I find that I can modulate the pedal better once I'm already in it. I don't want it requesting max torque in the first bit of throttle position.
Oh, I think this is what I'm absolutely hating about the MHD tune - the max torque jerks the car and unsettles it...

Hi all, stupid question, I did a cursory check in this thread or others but didn't find specifics (I might have missed them, in case apologies), so:

Is anyone using a GoPro 13 (or 11) inside the car? If so: are you able to extract GPS data from it?
Does the camera successfully get a GPS fix from inside the vehicle?

Reason I ask is:
I have an older GoPro Hero 7 Black, been using it for years and a lot of it is to film trackdays (to see how slow I am :D ) and to have a quick look at GPS data, lap times, speeds, etc to have an idea of what goes on, if I am getting even worse over time. :)

This works perfectly on motorbikes, but inside the car (same track) the Hero 7 struggles to get a GPS fix.
I was wondering if newer models have stronger GPS reception capability.
I keep the camera attached to the strut bar on a goose neck, sitting essentially in between the seats.

Thanks.
