First, thank you a ton for sharing this. I was doing a family road trip the last 2 weekends, and we are already headed off camping this weekend. I'll eventually get to this install even if I have to take a half day off work to do it. I'll share how it goes.

I'd suggest there's some normal variation in all of our builds, but not 100% sure I believe it. I took the other owner's claim at face value but the devil is often in the details, maybe they were also this close.

On yours it seems the bottom of the brace itself is really quite close to that factory torsion bracing. Fingers crossed you, and eventually I, don't rub or have any issues there.

My original plans were to disconnect the let's say silver brace arms from that black tower, and then loosen them downstream to see if they'd hang a little and give room. I'll certainly consider your method here instead. I think once I'm finally under the car I'll see what works with the tools I have on hand. It's good to have new ideas to consider.

The arms are closer in the pic than after install, this was without the black tower installed and it pushed them down a little from where they are at in the picture.

Also yeah, I'm sure there is some variance in the thread insert and the arms, really if there was like 2-3mm it would clear fine.

Install was actually pretty easy, a little more fiddly just to get the bolts and spacers around the arms as they block the access from the bottom, but really not bad at all. I think I did the install in 30 mins start to finish.

Production for Group Buy #4 has officially concluded! They should be loaded on a ship and headed to the US sometime this week!
