Make sure the mirror adjustment switch is in the driver’s position for the mirror to tilt.wait I found it, I am at S18T-24-3-519
I tried coding again the mirror tilt. It recoded, the ECU rebooted, I even turned off and on the car but it still does not tilt in reverse. That being said, the engine auto shutoff still does not kick in either. I guess all told I will trade the tilt for the disabled start\stop
u.u yep that was it. i guess the techs messed with the mirrorsMake sure the mirror adjustment switch is in the driver’s position for the mirror to tilt.
Now THIS is how to properly socialize an issue, listen to suggestion, and resolve the issue.u.u yep that was it. i guess the techs messed with the mirrors

Not throw yourself on the ground and have a crying fit threatening a class action lawsuit.
Yeah @Parkofadown, talking to you.
You're not alone here...I literally spent 6+ months without mirror tilt because I apparently moved the button alongside playing with bimmercode for the first time and had no idea that kept the mirrors from tilting.u.u yep that was it. i guess the techs messed with the mirrors
I just set mine to start in sport mode after having the recall done. Usually I put it in sport mode anyway after initial start up and I just have the transmission set to normal mode and swap that when necessary or I want to run it in sport so I don't have to deal with the auto start/stop kicking in cause I almost always forget to shut it off when I'm driving after having it coded off for so long.I am sad to announce that after proper testing, the auto start/stop is very much alive with -519 despite deactivating it or setting it to memory with bimmercode.
i'm on the -519 (03/24) software and still had to code it. are you asking out of curiosity or having issues?Does anyone know if the display brightness is fixed with this update, or do you still need to use bimmercode?
I think it’s much improved and matches dash brightness. I haven’t coded it back.Does anyone know if the display brightness is fixed with this update, or do you still need to use bimmercode?
