I am building my 2020 Supra as a time attack build, and I purchased the CSF 4 pack coolers to combat heat soak from repeated laps, but now I'm reading it might not make any difference. Does anyone have experience these? Much appreciated

Supposedly CSF kit does not reduce heat soak as much if at all compared to stock.

Only reason you see it everywhere is because they send it to ‘influencers’ for free on builds.

if you *had* to get a new heat exchanger for whatever I’d probably say PWR, or maybe Forge.

I haven’t changed mine, but when I looked into it, those were the best options.

If you've already bought them , might as well install them
If you see the plastic end tanks on the stock units, you'll probably feel better about spending the money
Even if they only keep heat soak from happening as quickly vs lower temps, the all metal end tanks are worth it in reliability
BMWs aren't exactly known for high quality cooling systems ?

CSF is worse than OEM so yea, don’t do that. Hyped marketing.

I run OEM radiator and heat exchanger and mainly track the car, which is basically 10x equivalent street miles. No issues.

It chuckles me to hear someone praise the oem cooling components of a BMW

No doubt having a Wagner manifold helps.

They're more or less useless to me lol.
Do you track with an upgraded manifold? Or you mean just for scooting around town.

we are talking about supra hence supra forum LOL new bmw/supra has become way more reliable than the past bmws so the oem wont be an issue. most likely try to sell the CSF. most people are saying csf is either the same cooling or worse. maybe the only benefit is full metal?

B58 is a 10 yr old design and system
F80s have issues with their top mount heat exchanger leaking
Supra just got letter from Toyota saying. They'll extend warranty for bleeder screw and coolant expansion tank
Let's not kid ourselves saying BMW NOW are any better at manufacturing a better cooling system

where's the top mount heat exchanger on our supra? lol. stop comparing cars. every car has their flaws. shitty quality radiators and heat exchangers isnt one of them yet. time will tell tho. but so far nope. heck ive seen past b58 leaking valve covers before 30k miles yet theres plenty of supra past 50k miles no leak yet.

Technically we have a top mount intercooler. Generally speaking the B58 has been more reliable than any JDM motor i've had. Parts are more expensive, thats the only downside

Time will tell
The b58 has integrated heat exchanger inside the plastic IM
I will end this convo since you seem like you know very little about BMWs and how they are designed

Btw , almost every IM upgrade replaces the stock plastic to metal
Yes here we are trusting the stock plastic end tanks on a factory BMW radiator ???
