Well ive been seeing alot of IG post now that there is a lot o people claiming that they can go to your HOME to UNLOCK your ECU now. I think there is Zero excuses now to get your DME unlocked.

Mine is im too broke atm );

I prefer to wait for them to pay me to have the privilege of unlocking my DME.

This was pretty much my reaction the Saturday after getting my unlock after 2 years of being a JB4 supporter / wondering why people who aren't going upgraded turbo went through the effort of shipping their ECU to Femto.

Even against a Jesse JB4 map they're worlds apart, if you're on JB4 still you seriously need to unlock. Even MHD OTS maps make JB4 feel like a joke.

I gave up trying to tell people this. Some things people need to learn for themselves. JB4 is junk. Burger is an asshole too.

It more of like 3rd party techs who work with vendors like Autotuner, femto, and etc. They have a key to unlock your ecu at home for a hefty price probably.

Also been seeing alot of bundle deals too which I just might take part.

The difference between a custom E35 JB4 tune and the OTS E40 tune from MHD is insane. The car feels like an absolute monster with the E40 tune. Throttle map is buns though which I know will be fixed once I get a custom tune, but the E40 tune made it evident that I need a new clutch so priorities...

You decided to go ethanol after all? I add some more and got to e40, definitely felt a big difference on the low end power shifting from 1-2-3, even at street speeds.

Does that let you re lock your DME too?

according to them, you can create full backups of your ecu prior to unlocking. That should allow you to re lock i guess?
