Someone once told me that you need to be a corvette person to want a corvette. After seeing it in person, I realized how true this statement was. Very cool car but it didn't do anything for me.

The Supra on the other hand..

Apparently it snapped the axle when it sprayed.
Yup....And having an axle break on a stock C8 isn't very reassuring! Also the Vette barely had over 500 miles on it which is slightly over the break in period...

Well OK!!! LOL!!!

Initial run against Supra it ran without nitro, basically running stock....

It just had shot of nitro added...no other mods...Still not a good sign of things to come...

Don't get me wrong...I'm still a Vette fan having owned a '18 C7 myself...

That said, I don't miss the C7 either...the Supra is my Goldilocks!

Broken axles on basically a stock C8 does not bode well. Apparently they also have fitment issues as paint is chipping off the doors due to a bolt sticking out.

If someone gave me the keys to both I'd take the C8 but for most people price is a factor and a C8 optioned decently is going to be 20k more then a Supra. At this price point 20k more is a lot of money and that becomes the justification.

Personally I think the Supra looks better, the C8 looks good but it has angles and lines that are a little off and I've always preferred front engine cars, long hoods, short decks, aesthetically. If I had the extra money sitting around I'd go C8 but my C8 would probably cost 30k more then the Supra, thats a lot of money and its hard to argue against, especially the 2021 Supra's, value and affordability.

Can't go wrong with either and the decision likely rests with your wallet more then your heart.
