I installed the Fuel-it flex fuel kit a while back along with my jb4. The page has some vague instructions on how to get them working together (connect the white wire to pin 4, change WMI etc).

Just wondering does anyone know of a solid video/forum tutorial on getting this specific setup working?
(fuel it, jb4, mkv supra)

Want to make sure i'm doing it right.

Sorry for the blurry pictures but I'd thought that I would post what this looks like. Funny enough, the pin number is actually etched into the harness on both sides but I was only able to see it when I turned the camera flash on.

So been using the flex kit and seems to work and values seem fairly accurate based on fuels used. But I wired the pin 4 on the jb4 and it’s not close (17%) to the value in the Fuel-It app (28%) and bit 0 is enabled. Based on the above top pic I used pin4 - 4th from top right side - next to the yellow wire. Is there a way to adjust the value or is something else going on?

so I just tried the “virtual sensor offset” and set to 100 vs 132 “default” and that didn’t change anything. Then I set bit 1 enabled and the display now shows 22% which seems closer - also tried bit 2 and no change - bits 0/1/2 all show some sort of eblend input. Also when checking the Fuel-It! Install guide on the jb4 site it says to connect the white wire to pin 14 on the db25 connector. May try that but just checking if anyone else has seen similar issues.

tried pin 14 and now it shows 24%.

TIA

Any update? Fuel-It website for Supra says “white wire to position #4 on the JB4 25 pin harness.” I’m going to install my Fuel-It kit as well this weekend so I’m seeing what everyone is running for accurate reading. Thanks.

Rezzing but I have a post on the JB4tech forums asking the same thing and we are debugging. I'm having the same issue where the Fuel-It app shows e30 but JB4 is showing e15/16 on Pin 4 and with value set to 100 with bit 0.

I know it doesn't do anything but I dont like having to have 2 apps especially when I paid for the other already.

I just ignored the white wire and use the app. It's too short to connect to JB4 module. For me, it's not worth the hassle. Everyone I know that runs jb4 has it tucked away on the driver's side pocket under the hood but the wire on fuel it runs along the passenger side pocket.

Yeah had that issue and extended the wire. DO NOT DO THIS. After extending, the voltage dropped from 1.36v to 0.75v. I've since bought a replacement bare connector and will be rewiring it for our cars. Hopefully the shorter wire will work! I got a single shielded wire just for the damn signal wire to match what they had.

I'll post an update if this works.

I paid for this damn app, I'm going to make this work.
