I was kinda all over the place with what to replace my Supra with after selling it last month. I originally planned on getting a 6 port and doing a crazy build on it. I had a lot of people telling me that my plan didn’t make sense…and to be fair it really didn’t. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The other part of me had originally planned on keeping the Supra forever and buying a 991 GT3 when the time was right. I guess after I sold the Supra I realized that maybe it was time to stop dreaming about it and actually get into a 991. The MKV is an excellent car and an amazing value for the price. But, in the end I talked myself out of another MKV, and with a lot of encouragemen from my wife and close friends, I pulled the trigger on a 991.1 GT3 RS.

The car has all important and desirable options (bucket seats, front axle lift, pccb’s), and as an added bonus, it has a Soul Performance center muffler bypass and fresh full body PPF.

Looking forward to lots of seat time in this thing!

Whoa that's quite a replacement.
What year is that one? And what are those going for these days? Asking for a friend

Wow! Nice car, and great upgrade. I won't be selling my Supra, but will be adding a Lambo Huracan to the collection within the next year or so.

I have been in the passengers seat of 3 different ones of those on the track many times. Seriously one of the best cars ever.

Thanks guys!

I did one of the overpriced 5 lap racing things in a base 991 GT3 sometime around 2014/15. I was hooked on the car then but just viewed it as an unattainable dream car.

I rented a 991.2 RS (2019) for a weekend from Royalty Exotics in Vegas a few months back and was blown away. Such a better car than the base 991.1 GT3. I wish I had pulled the trigger then, as the 991.1 RS (2016’s) are selling for just a few grand less than the 991.2’s are now.

I’ve been saving for one of these for years. It’s a bit surreal for me to finally be able to own one.

Another plus -Insurance is cheaper by a few bucks with USAA.
