I just spent a lot of money on mine. Wheel, sway bars and springs have been ordered. Now the wait begins. Wheels might be in by the end of June and suspension parts are mid May. Next big expense - tires....
I think once the car is lowered and perhaps wheels spacers are added... the wheels flares would be more pronounced... tying all items together and looking more balanced.Hopefully this fall I can start on the suspension.
The car looks great. I like the red outline. The badges not so much but to each their own.Just finished getting the whole car with Expel PPF. Spent this weekend Completing the install of the Artisan body kit, plus I vinyl wrapped the badges. I'm not paying to get the badges replaced to have them crack again from the sun, so I did my own customer badge. Tell me what you guys think. All the fender trim is getting changed from white to gloss black next month to make it stand out better. On Christmas I'll have the Artisan rear spoiler replaced with the carbon fiber wing. I'll be officially done with the cosmetic mods. Hopefully this fall I can start on the suspension.
Yes, this is a good start. Lowering and a new set of aftermarket wheels to fill out the wheel wells would really round out the look.I think once the car is lowered and perhaps wheels spacers are added... the wheels flares would be more pronounced... tying all items together and looking more balanced.
So Iām at Toyota now for an alignment post eibach spring install. Their Supra guy is telling me this is his first Supra alignment and that it is telling him he needs to only check current alignment and make needed adjustments after placing 130 pounds in drivers seat, 130 pounds in passenger seat and 30 pounds in rear hatch, and it needs to be a full tank of gas. The thing is is they donāt have anything for weight to place in the car. Did they have this done when you had your alignment done?Alignment Day... after Eibach spring install (allowed 200 miles to settle in).
The tech offered some serious attention to detail (even covering the wheel apparatus with a steering wheel cover where it meets the rim). Tipped well. ?
Sounds like he's trying to do a corner balance...lolSo Iām at Toyota now for an alignment post eibach spring install. Yeah I have been here for 2.5 hours now and supposedly they are on the phone with their corporate office trying to figure out what to do.Sounds like he's trying to do a corner balance...lol
I've never had an alignment that needed weight to be added...but maybe it's a Supra thing?
