I added the carbon hood vents from the A90 shop. Also added the carbon fiber front and door trim which looks much nicer than I anticipated. Glad I chose this over the TRD door garnish. Saved $3500 with results I am very happy with. I didnā€™t take a picture of the carbon hood vents as everyone has seen them 1000 times.

Hereā€™s the others:

Are you using a breaker bar?
Noā€¦ canā€™t find mine, so I need to go get one tomorrow. Guess itā€™s staying disassembled for now.

Sighā€¦ this is why I told myself not to mod after my past carsā€¦ another 2 hr project thatā€™s turning into a weekend project. Lol.

Managed to get the airbag off pretty easily in about 5 minutesā€¦ but JFCā€¦ I canā€™t remove the damn loctite bolt. Will have to try again when the kids go down for the night.

And oh, unlike the other guy that had T60 screw in his 2022, I still have the old school bolt.:dunno:

Yeah, my old DeWalt impact driver had met its match with that bastard. Took forever, and the socket was hot AF.

Upgraded my air intake. Kept it simple ... as I am NOT mechanically inclined.

Looks like a cheap alternative for the sound, but seems like it would be a potential Hot Air Intake? Have you noticed it robbing any power under spirited driving?

Iā€™d like the noise but Iā€™m not looking to spend $1500 on the Intake I like yet. I saw the K&N filter alone actually produced 3whp on a dyno comp, but typically the OEM box is best and the intake is just a noise maker (which most enthusiasts do prefer).

Said to have "MORE POWER AND DRAMATIC SOUND IMPROVEMENT" ... and ... this certainly gave me some added confidence: "Install takes only minutes and is fully reversible".

Sounds cool. Way more obvious inside the car when not in sport mode. I suspect it sounds better to people outside of the car, based on what I'm hearing from the inside.

I've only got a couple miles on it so far - still assessing.

Took a page out of @Suggs.OR book and decided to add a roof rack tray so I can transport my race tires. Gave her a wash before that and she's looking nice and clean for Cars and Coffee tomorrow. Hoping to get some good double takes from people when they see it.

I had the same problem. I couldnā€™t do it with an impact drill or a breaker bar. My trusted mechanic did it with an impact wrench. After I installed the new steering wheel my car would automatically honk the horn every time I made a right turn because one of he connectors was not fully seated. I became quite adept at removing the airbag. šŸ˜ƒ
