Brake dust is easily my biggest complaint.

The wind buffeting is my second, but easily remedied for $9 on Amazon.

No ventilated seats at this price point is mind boggling.

The sounds “quality” of the JBL system is garbage, especially when the ADS is enabled. The distortion and vibration from the rear area is intolerable.

Most everything else that annoys me can either be turned off in the menu or fixed with BimmerCode.

I don’t see any of those as deal breakers as this is the most fun car I’ve ever owned.

Well, I can't say my RC-F didn't have that option (though it was almost $30K more expensive) - but even on the highest setting, it literally did nothing other than make noise. That was definitely more irritating than it's omission on the MKV. And that's coming from someone who regularly drives in 110F+ weather.

If it worked great, I'd totally agree with you - on the other hand if it just added 20lbs to the weight of the car and did nothing... yeah, skip it. To be fair to Toyota... the LS500 has fantastic seat ventilation - but not even close in price and is a land yacht that sucks to drive (IMO). Not that it matters since Toyota had nothing to do with the seats or anything else on our cars. ;)

What I dislike most is the Toyota emblem. My wife says it looks like Woody from Toy Story. Paint or CF won’t cover that. I wish Toyota had designed a Supra emblem, like Nissan did with the Z, or Ford with the Mustang, etc.

Agree and actually was just discussing the (very expensive) options for deletion in a different thread. Although if that's the worst thing to you, I guess it's safe to say you love the car?

How could I forget the lack of Android Auto? And before you Apple fans start with the "get a real phone" and "ew green text", just remember that's similar to saying "Nice BMW" to a Supra owner.

Honest question for the people who don't like the stock JBL audio system. Has any stock system in any car ever lived up to your standards? I've owned a bunch of cars and have been on plenty of online forums. I don't think I've ever seen one car where everyone liked the stock system.

Most of the music I've always listened to sounds like it was recorded in a one car garage so I don't have high expectations for sound.

Although I disliked a great deal about the car... I quite enjoyed the Mark Levinson setup in my 2016 RC-F. I hated the infotainment system itself however, because it was such a huge step down from my 2010 G37S in terms of usability and lacked the 60GB "Music Box" hard drive for audio files.

Sounded (and measured) as fairly accurate for a car interior (~5db downslope on factory flat settings). At least it did once you got rid of the matrix surround processing. Movies on DVD however sounded perfect because then it was full 5.1->7.1 multichannel decoding - but the matrix up-mixing was trash IMO.

The newer version in the LS500 is incredible... much improved in it's maxtrix capabilities - but then again I only experienced it briefly so I'm not sure what I might have noticed after many hours of listening.

Nope. I had to keep turning the volume up and down. I replaced the stock speakers in my 2001 MR2 and my current 2013 Prius with speakers by Hertz. They are fantastic. Enough bass so that I didn’t need a sub in the Prius. Also Damplifier sound deadening material to all 4 doors.Makes a big difference. Less expensive than Dynamat. You can buy it on Amazon.( You did say any car.) I also added an after market amp to the Prius. I listen to mostly dance,EDM, and 80s music. Lots of posts online by owners of different Toyota vehicles who are unhappy with the stock stereos in their cars/trucks.

Honestly man,

I used to have to hold the aux cable a certain way in the car with my friends to listen to music a few years back. I’m good with whatever sound system now, the difference is remarkable. And I have the 10-speaker system, lol.
