Stock with a catless downpipe is already too loud for me. So Other. It's more than enough unless you want cops just hawking your shit even in normal mode lol
I've never had an issue with police over anything related to a decent sports car. Front plate, exhaust, etc. LA Thing, possibly?

With a catless dp in normal mode I really don't hear a difference just driving down the road. Its a little louder when getting on it half throttle or so. In sport yes it does get loud when you get on it, but that's my opinion.

Nah, it's just my PTSD coming from when i owned my Evo lmao. After that car, i generally tried to stay away from drawing too much attention lol. But mainly for me is just exhaust, other than that, fuck a front plate lmao

That's the point for me, in Normal, i want it to sound close to stock so i can enjoy my rides home from a tiring day lol. But Sport on the other hand is the party mode for me lol, even on MHD with the burbles on soft, the burbles are loud as shit. ?? been tempted to just disable burbles in general lol.

I’m leaning on magna flow a lot right now. Boost logic hangs too low to clear my drive way and borla sounds like they have too problems.

question for the tuners here: Will it throw off my future tune when I switch between sport and normal mode with this exhaust? Normal pushes all exhaust flow through a single exit with a muffler, sport is straight pipe. Hopefully that won’t throw off pressures and whatnot?

I love my active autowerkes exhaust. Highly underrated. I think it sounds mean. Definitely in top 3 this, awe and boost logic are my favs

DAMN that sounds good - SO good. It's the right kind of aggressive, IMO, but it's personal preference. I think my AWE Track isn't too loud. ?

I have the Magnaflow and was already tuned before I had it installed. Tuner said a retune was not required. The car runs great and pulls hard.

I was suprised that the Magnaflow sounded awesome during stationary revs. All the videos I have seen of this exhust it didn't sound good during stationary revs. It's amazing how those videos don't come close to replicating the sound of this exhust.

I wanted something that wasn't going to be obnoxiously loud, looking at muffler designs the AWE touring resonated and Armytrix was best bet. I hate how AWE exhaust hangs low and you can see the muffler so I went with Armytrix (everything else on my car is stock including downpipe).

The fitment and finish is fantastic and my favorite part is that the muffler and pipes hides away nicely like OEM.

In comfort mode, it's the exact same volume as stock, this is a plus since I leave work at 4:30am.

I bought the version the retains the OEM valve module instead of the "vacuum/Bluetooth valve control version".

In sport mode, if hearing from the outside, it has an aggressive tone and the volume is just bit louder than stock, so nothing obnoxious at all; unfortunately, inside the cabin even with the windows down, I can't hear much of a difference between stock and Armytrix in sport mode. You have to be behind the car to really hear the difference, due to this I honestly wish it was a little bit more louder.

The YouTube videos (which you should never go by for purchase decision) makes Armytrix sound loud with stock downpipe, but that is far from the truth.

I think Armytrix, while louder than stock, is probably the quietest aftermarket option there is. So it would pair nicely with Catless or sport downpipe. I just don't think it's worth it if you're keeping stock downpipe.

The power on the car is plenty for me, so I don't want to change the downpipe nor care for a tune (not that I can at this point anyway).

May end up selling the Armytrix for something a little bit louder as I want to keep stock downpipe. I just need to go to local Supra meets to hear other options in person.

EDIT: Also someone had mentioned Armytrix hurts the performance in normal [comfort] mode. This was indeed an issue years ago I had read on the Audi and Nissan GTR forums (it was due to the flap not opening at full acceleration), this has since been resolved and there has not been any recent proof/reports of this being an issue (I did extensive search before ordering mine). In fact the new design utilize the OEM valve and when closed there is a 3rd pipe so that it redirects the exhaust to both pipes still

UDPATE (December 20, 2021): I ended up getting an Active Autowerke Catted Downpipe to pair up with the Armytrix Cat-Back. In comfort mode it's the same [except for Cold Start which, using my Radio Shack db reader, is 1.5db louder and will vibrate the cabin -- but things quite down after 10 seconds or so]. In sport mode it's just massively improved the sound of the Armytrix. Same great tone only with increased volume without being obnoxious. In the cabin, you can hear the exhaust note (I have ASD disabled) under heavy acceleration, but once cruising the noise is minimal with a hint of drone at 1,800 RPM (ASD enabled actually created more drone effect). Super happy with the setup now!

All the noise comes from the Downpipe with Armytrix. They mainly have a better tone for catback and the pops are more solid and full. I have a full Armytrix setup. Anymore questions and you can text me 8087732572

Stock or aftermarket downpipe? Any drone? Is it valved?

Not a lot of videos of this one, but I think it sounds good.

Also has a catted downpipe, also active autowerkes. It is valved and can be in comfort or sport just like oem. No drone at all. Absolutely love it. Check out more of my channel, plenty of clips of the exhaust. I think it is one of the best and very underrated and no, not because I have it. I chose it because I simply loved how it sounded

I checked out your videos and I forget if you or a comment mentioned a little drone at 2k RPMs? Can you clarify/confirm? That’s highway cruising RPMs, and I’m trying to avoid drone at all costs (but yes, I’d like a louder exhaust).
