I don't think I'll ever truly understand the Supra family feud. It seems like A80 and A70 owners are always at each others throats. However, both seem to be fine with the A40/A60. I remember when I first joined Supraforums back in the days and there was always smack talking. Some of my favorite lines:I think there was some drama at that event. One of the guys had posted something a long these lines "fu*king MK4 owners think that only their opinions matter". I was going to share it here, but when I went back to look for it I can't find it anymore. I'm assuming it was quickly removed.
I think hes talking about the GRMN model.I don't think this is the base 4 cyl. I think this is the higher trim version, it sounds it has a 6 cyl under the hood.
Tada doesn't care for many of the A80 owners he spoke with in the US and possibly elsewhere (not going to waste time delving into in detail), and another individual mentioned in this thread made a comment that he started removing several of them from his social media for negative comments made on the A90. They can be a very toxic bunch and are typically very arrogant.I don't think I'll ever truly understand the Supra family feud. It seems like A80 and A70 owners are always at each others throats. MK4 owner: Why don't you get a real Supra?
MK3 owner: Why would I want to pay that much for a jelly beans on wheels.
This sounds childish on everyoneās end. The A80 put the Supra on the map so naturally people are going to expect an evolution of the the A80 but thatās not what we are getting. We are getting an evolution of the Z4 from what we can tell so far. Iāll keep an open mind and hope the end results will be to my liking but it will never feel like a true Supra. I have no doubt it will be a looker and a performer but it will always be the adopted family member, no blood relation.Tada doesn't care for many of the A80 owners he spoke with in the US and possibly elsewhere (not going to waste time delving into in detail), and another individual mentioned in this thread made a comment that he started removing several of them from his social media for negative comments made on the A90. I've had this same experience 90% of the time, but it has seemingly gotten a bit better over time.
Exceptions are usually folks that have owned other Supras or that realize the others have their own merit.
Oh yeah, the number one source of hatred for the A90 seems to be coming from Supraforums, and that place is dominated with A80 owners. Not to mention tons of them bash on Tada's prior project, the 86. Maybe more of them will be accepting once the car is unveiled and they can actually get behind the wheel of one.Tada doesn't care for many of the A80 owners he spoke with in the US and possibly elsewhere (not going to waste time delving into in detail), and another individual mentioned in this thread made a comment that he started removing several of them from his social media for negative comments made on the A90.
