Exactly this. Turbos are dead at 4500. I understand this is the "first tuned Z" so it is worth something, but the way the HP and Torque just peace the fuck out at 4500 means new turbos are going to be required nearly instantly. Ethanol will bump the curves up but the curve will look the same.
Well good thing the turbos are so accessible on the new Z and cheaper since you get a discount for buying two.

Unlikely. The predicted GRMN was using BMWs halo engine and besides that being “unlikely” although not impossible, the cost of a GRMN with that kind of engine etc would probably be significantly higher than a nismo version of the Z
Also, the S58 has this design where the intakes feed an air filter on top of the engine. I think that probably makes the engine too tall to fit into the Supra? So they'd have to come up with a S58 variant that has the air intake and filters on the side. Not that hard to do but will BMW make it just for the Supra? I think that's unlikely. On the other hand if they make a Z4M with the S58 they'll probably make an engine like that, and that can then go into the GRMN Supra.

Having worked and lived in various areas around the world from China, South America, Pacific Islands, many women work I the same types of professions, unless oppressed, and from that, I would say males are the higher risk takers and it isn't the lack of females in dangerous occupations.

And with regards to being a genius, it is more of opportunity and the lack of, that has held back many women and even some who were a "genius" recognition of that, often is not forthcoming.
Can't speak for other countries except for the good ole USA
Nobody is stopping anyone of any gender from going into STEM fields
I only see equality rallies for women in fortune 500 companies
But they don't show up plumbing conventions, garbage truck drivers or miners and deep see drillers

Bruh...slower than the land boat on wheels.
Slower than a GR86.
Interestingly enough, Grassroots Motorsports took the "Supra Killer" to the track for some laps and not only did the Supra pull a four second lap time difference compared to the Z (1:19 vice 1:23), the Z also had a comparable time with the 2022 Subaru BRZ. 😂

The Z is just a sad affair tbh. Internet People say the Supra is almost great, but this thing with its no LSD on base model, open deck head, slushy jatco automatic and last Gen chassis...really!? Gr corolla much better value at 40k...

The best part is the 2022 BRZ that they tested was the automatic version, which is quite a bit slower than the manual version to begin with 🤣.

Man, the Z is looking more and more like a $50k+ pile of 💩.

IF a new nismo version of the Z is released, do you guys think Toyota will reply with a GRMN model? At this point, I wonder if a nismo version will even outperform a 3.0 model lol
Not at all. I’m not sure why Toyota and Nissan “fans” think the two brands care about what the other does. Sure, they’ll watch the market but beyond that you’re just living a fantasy.

If there’s money to be made, they’ll make it.. but I’m pretty confident that any GRMN release will be Japan only and have nothing to do with anything Nissan releases.. or doesn’t release.

Large companies aren’t into stupid pissing contests.

Waiting for all my SPL track goodies to come in and be installed that will make my Supra faster and feel even better on track. But even then, this Supra drives amazingly in town, imo. Solid as a rock and smooth as butter. I find it hard to believe the “subjective“ data says the Z feels better… Out of the box this car is simply, way better.

Sinking ship of a car and paid shill trash about what it can do. The car is an utter compromise, is a GT on a good day lol. Its more old than new. Admirable about new, sportscar, not much else. The price they are asking is now an insult overall. Its just sad to see the shills out there trying produce sales for a car that is simply not that good at anything.

Wait till the civic type R drops
I think it's the better value even as a FWD platform
I'd take it over the Z any day
The new CTR and GR Corolla, especially the Morizo Edition can probably drop the Z on the track without even breaking a sweat.

Imagine someone in a Z, thinking he's hot sh!t, only to get gapped by the hot versions of 2 economy cars on some twisty roads.
