The copium on that Z forum is still so strong even until now, most of their discussions and comments are just so pathetic.

This is the kind of shit I hate seeing on car forums. Let people like whatever they want. No need to call them or their discussion pathetic. You literally gain nothing from being a tool bag.

I agree.

But did you... did you not see how insanely immature they would act towards us? It's only right. :p

I saw my 1st new Z the other day. It was really nice in person! Then low and behold, the previous gen was close behind. Wow! It must have been a Nismo. It was an off white, clean looking, well kept, looked brand new… anyways, I personally liked the older Nismo.

Nothing wrong with the new gen Z. It just doesn’t hit the buttons for me. It’s more like a pair of loafers. Looks nice and does the job. But that’s about it.

A pair of loafers sounds like a great way to describe the Z ?, it's certainly not a pair of running shoes.

I really tap this tread way too much. Because a friend and I were both considering this car (in theory) just because it seemed decent on paper and had a manual. I really do like the car. If it was priced less and marketed in the beginning for what it really is. A nice sporty in town car ?‍♂

Again, I couldn’t be happier with this Supra on track. I’m off to Homestead this weekend. The media really doesn’t do this car justice, imo (for the price). However, I know most people won’t be tracking their Supras. Which is too bad. This is where our car really shines. Hence:

Quick shout out ☝

Most people in the media can't drive for shiet, so the Supra's real capabilities end up not getting much exposure, one basically has to go search for it themselves in order to find tests like that, while the majority of those "reviews" on youtube will mostly just focus on making "iT's A bMw" remarks, complaining about the interior being too tight for their fatass and the trunk being not big enough to haul all their IKEA furniture, as if the Supra is meant to be pick-up truck ?‍♂?‍♂.

This is really apparent down here at Homestead this weekend. Tons of Supras! To me this is the real indication of where this cars shines and is heading. Not a single Nissan Z. Zero, nada, nilche… no hating on the Z, but it’s obvious at this point.

Anyways, a tandem of us more experienced Supra drivers were running together yesterday. Fun as ? ! Lots of other brand owners asking us about our cars. The Supra haul ass and doesn’t overheat ?. We’re all stock engine (I turn my JB4 off) and with proper rubber on, traction control off, she’s a beast.

So with you 100%, the Z isn’t “that” car, imo. It’d be a great car for in town or taking off at a stoplight ??‍♂ and it looks kinda cool to boot.

Edit: I did see one on track yesterday. It was really old and tons of mods! But he did a good job with it. I followed him for a while. Proof you can put money into anything and make her go zoom zoom….

i see why the new GTR... is not new. given its looks, i was hoping the Z would be a fantastic car, one i'd get excited seeing in person. it's just reused garbage. shame on Nissan

edit: and this is coming from a guy that loves EGs, S14s, Evos, Camaros, Corvettes, i even like the Elantra N.. i am easily entertained..

Nissan's Recovery Isn't Fast Enough to Stave Off S&P Junk Credit Rating
The agency expects the automaker will underperform its sales projection for the coming fiscal year by almost two million cars.
