Correct. But tbh I won’t ever buy a new gen BMW solely because how ugly it looks. Even if someone gave it to me for free. Next step after supra is Porsche 911.That was a previous generation //M though wasn't it?

Correcto! Though I think the comparison is also against a 2020 Supra, which after the 2021 changes has sped up around the tracks a healthy bit. That was a previous generation //M though wasn't it?
I doubt Toyota's partner would be happy about that particular add campaign.Be cool if Toyota could advertise what matters. The Supra is a BMW Z4, with a hardtop, lighter, and for less money.…
What's up with iDrive 8? I often wish the Supra had iDrive7 as it has actual turn-by-turn integration in the HUD when using Apple Carplay nav, which would be nice.Lastly, iDrive 8 is![]()
It's a full screen instead of an actual cluster at all. The end of times indeed hahaWhat's up with iDrive 8? I often wish the Supra had iDrive7 as it has actual turn-by-turn integration in the HUD when using Apple Carplay nav, which would be nice.
Same for me and here I am in the Supra. So glad BMW told me a year plus as well.So I was in discussions with a sales rep about test driving the new M2 and placing an order for one as I continue my search the the one car that can do everything I need it to (wife has an Atlas for the "utility" side of things).
I've already backed out after being informed of the 1+ year wait and ADM.
So I'm back to seriously considering the Supra as my primary car. Biggest deterrent for me is the outward visibility. Interior space feels great to me otherwise coming from Miatas. I also got a chance to sit in one with about 11,000 miles on it last weekend. Still felt new and tightly put together. Unlike the used M2s I've sat in that felt like pieces were ready to fall off when touched.
You get used to the visibility. I was pretty concerned initially but now it's fine. Make sure you know how to adjust your side mirrors properly. I daily my Supra and have no complaints. So I was in discussions with a sales rep about test driving the new M2 and placing an order for one as I continue my search the the one car that can do everything I need it to (wife has an Atlas for the "utility" side of things).

That's what I figured. I test drove one last October and was surprised how much it didn't bother me once I got moving. Just the thought of living with it day to day that I've wondered about. Good to be reminded by an owner that it isn't necessarily a problem. You get used to the visibility. I was pretty concerned initially but now it's fine.
