Raceseng, more options to choose from. I did replace my set screws with stainless steel ones cuz I'm picky but other than that very happy with how things came out.
I actually ordered one from Raceseng yesterday as well. I saw no point in getting a shift knob from BF that was essentially the same size, shape, and weight as the stock knob. If I'm gonna bother messing around with it, I wanted a different shape, color, material, and most importantly weight from the original 200 gram. I went with a Contour 500 gram, in textured red. Really excited to see how it feels!

Sorry for the picture quality. Finally got my Nitro in red and love the color contrast with the tan.

I thought about getting one but now that things are starting to warm up again I just want to focus on getting a bit of seat time. I might do the clutch delay valve delete cuz I don't really like the auto revmatching and sometimes I feel that 3rd gear doesn't like to get rushed because of what this valve does.

I’ll make a ya deal you can’t say no too! Shoot me a PM whenever you’re ready! And yes I agree I’ve also felt like I could have shifted into 3rd faster a few times

It will be a while for that but will keep it in mind. I decided to be part of Apex's group buy cuz they finally released the SM-10RS and I grabbed a set in 18x11. My credit card is already hurting and I still have to get a set of tires. Makes me wish I could have picked out 2.0 wheels for mine ?.

The knob for me helped get rid of the issue about 95% of the times but I think that the delay valves is responsible for the last bit if I try to shift too quickly.

Has anyone figured out a part number we can use to order a plain leather shift knob and boot? (The one from the non A91-MT Edition cars.)

Do you have a alcantara one for sale per chance?

I do. I might be interested in a swap. When I track my car, I don't mind the feel as I wear gloves. But for the street, I don't know - something about the alcantara feel kind of bugs me. I don't know what the non A91 MT cars look like. Can someone send a pic? If they are leather and ours are alcantara, maybe we should just try a switch.

Mate.. I'm still awaiting delivery.. so I can't send a pic - sorry. The seats I've ordered are Alcantara, so it seems like having an Alcantara knob might make some sense. ?‍♂

Nah, my intent is to throw the alcantara one in the box the regular one comes in and then put it back on the car before I get rid of it someday.

The non A91-MTs are just regular leather. For daily I feel that the alcantara would get dirty or worst get bad worn out patches in the long run.

Agreed 100%, which is half the reason I'm switching mine out for the solid textured steel.

I just came to the Supra from five years of GT350 ownership with an Alcantara wrapped steering wheel.

Those wheels can get gross looking in a few thousand miles if you aren't careful. They soak up skin oil like a sponge. Mine looked pristine when I traded it after 10k miles, but only because I was fanatical about hand washing before getting in the car, not touching my face, and I forced myself to hold it by the smooth leather at the bottom of the wheel any time I was just cruising around. On track I would wear gloves.

Needless to say I don't want the same experience with the Supra, I want to drive it more and worry less - which means ditching the alcantara. My friend's wife got a Mercedes with an alcantara wheel not long ago and I warned her about all this. That wheel was trashed in 5000 miles, it looks completely gross.

Yeah, that's why my oem knob didn't even last 500 miles on the car ? . I had a BRZ and even though it was regular leather on the knob, the stitching was like the Supra's so my palm would sit right on it and if I wasn't careful it would need a wipe down every once in a while. To make things worst, keeping it clean is how the leather starts to deteriorate.
