Yes.Am I the only one who runs/has run rt660s?
I would give them a call. They answer the phone right away. I bought mine for a different issue with my Ohlins. But it turns out with my adjustable LCAs and the Vorshlag plates, the shop says Iāve got way more adjustability for him to work with. For those with vorshlag plates, how much camber did those get you? Wondering if Iāll need to order arms too. Iād like to have 3-4* range to play with.
Inspiring! Iām looking forward to seeing how these Verus ones do.You can run 997 gt3rs brake ducts, works great.
I wish Maxxis made bigger sizes. Iām at their largest (275/35-18) and another set just arrived in time for Christmas It could be in my mind, but I feel like you can immediately go out on those Victra RC-1s, theyāre grippy as boogers from begging to cord, at various tire pressures. I really liked the Nankangs CRS but they were definitely more tire pressure sensitive, or Iād slide more in turns I normally donāt. And even when Iād drop the pressure down, they still didnāt have the same grip.Do you consider a heat cycle a track session? If so, then about 17-19.
I experience a noticeable difference in grip CRS vs AR1. AR1's like to slide around even when new. Either way I'll probably never use them again because they wear like stinky cheese and are miserable to/from the track.
32psi has been my sweet spot for most super 200's. I start at 26/25 cold.
You are right about the AR1's and pressure, they go up a ton from heat and they seem to hate high pressure.
what offset? What suspension? Can I run 295/30 tire (thread width 298mm) on a r18x10.5 wheel with around -3.2 camber and ~10mm lower than stock in front with no spacers or it wont fit/will rub bad?
Ohlins R&T. Offset anything from +25 to +50 can be custom made. Was thinking 18x10.5 +25.what offset? What suspension?
+25 would be pretty aggressive.Ohlins R&T. Offeset anything from +25 to +50 can be custom made. Was thinking 18x10.5 +25.
I mean I can specify wheels to be +30, just want them to fit/not rub, so isnt lower offset "safer" ?+25 would be pretty aggressive.
Last year I ran 295/30/18 Conti ECF's on 18x10.5 +35 all around with zero issues.
This year I ran 295/35/18 CRS V2 which are about 305mm wide on 18x10.5 +35 with zero clearance issues.
Im on 18x11s with a 37 offset and no rubbing unless im at full turning lock. They are pretty close to rubbing the springs though. Dont think I would want to push the wheels out any further.I mean I can specify wheels to be +30, just want them to fit/not rub, so isnt lower offset "safer" ?
Well, is there any downside going lower offset? Why not push the wheels out bit more ?Im on 18x11s with a 37 offset and no rubbing unless im at full turning lock. They are pretty close to rubbing the springs though. Dont think I would want to push the wheels out any further.
Then you're stuck with that offset. If you go with a higher offset you can always run spacers.Well, is there any downside going lower offset? Why not push the wheels out bit more ?
Rubbing on fender lip/linerWell, is there any downside going lower offset? Why not push the wheels out bit more ?
I dont care, all i want for track wheel is to fit good, I wont change offset anyway. Then you're stuck with that offset. If you go with a higher offset you can always run spacers.
Ah ok. So I should run as high offset as possible to clear brake caliper but not rub fender liner?Rubbing on fender lip/liner
10.5" wheels arent hard to fit up front. 35 offset has been proven to fit many times so thats the route I would go. If you can get a 40 offset, then get 5mm spacers to go with them. 30 offset is just pushing it.I dont care, all i want for track wheel is to fit good, I wont change offset anyway.

It's a balance between clearing the strut/spring and not contacting the outer fender.Ah ok. So I should run as high offset as possible to clear brake caliper but not rub fender liner?
