Anyone see any orange 45th anniversary Supras on the road?

One possible direction of the next big thing is soundless EV running on AI that will self issue a penalty ticket when the driver is 10% over the speed limit…fuck that
That’s funny as 💩 🤣

I will get this back on track and say that I still haven`t seen the orange Supra but then again I hardly ever see another Supra anywhere.

A friend texted me the other day, asking if I was in the nearby city, since for the first time, he saw an orange 45th anniversary Supra while waiting at the light. In fact, I had gone to get gas at Costco and was returning home when he saw my car. He rolled down his window to hear the exhaust and commented that it sounded very good. He has a 370Z.

Last week I stopped at a red light at an intersection that is next to an elementary school. Parents and young kids were crossing the street in front and on my right side. Kids have no reservations about pointing at my car, but parents try not to look at it with the driver sitting in it. That's kind of funny because I do the same with non-exotic but fast cars.

my favorite thing about this car is how much it excites the youth. kids here point, scream, yell for revs, take selfies with my car. i was reserved when i was younger and i never gained anything with that, so i invite any appreciation! lol

the stares we get when there’s several together.. also fantastic. last night we got smiles/thumbs up from a huracan, IS350, STI, yelled at to do a pull

It seems to me that here in Southern Cali, Supras are universally admired. (Well, except by Tesla owners). And given the number of modified Supras out there, it's obvious that respect tends to be a bit higher than is warranted at times. That fine with me.
On another note, my PRHT MX5 does tend to get lots of attention from kids and others, simply because not many are seen on the street.

Subscribing to the shit show while we await delivery.

In the meantime here’s a picture of our Tundra to further send this thread off the rails.

This is not sarcastic in any way, but why did you buy a 45th anniversary edition, then disguise its origins? You could've had it wrapped in an orange color for less money.

This is sarcastic in every way, but why the fuck would I buy a car in a color I didn’t want?

I wanted an Orange Supra, I bought an Orange Supra. I’m 41 and my wife and I earn 490k a year, I’m absolutely sure I can do what I want. The cost to buy a Supra in a garbage color and fully strip it and repaint it Orange would easily top 8k

My question was in earnest: You could've bought any non-45th color and had it wrapped. That would've saved you the effort to have 45th anniv. hardware/Supra labels removed. Of course, you can do what you like; I was just curious.

Removal of stripes - Free. Took me ten minutes?

Fill holes, paint and install Street Hunter Wing - $1100

Wraps are garbage and do nothing about door jambs, all of the engine bay, the inner hatch, or the underside of the car, wheel wells.
