Not a Corvette.
So with the same professional driver who drives both cars would have a better time in the ZR1?
The ZR1 is a better bang-for-the-buck, but so is a Camaro Z28 vs a Supra. Which one would you rather own? Obviously, it's not the Camaro.
You know, back when you were old enough to be my dad, I wouldn’t have even thought about any of these asinine comparisons you make.

Ah, so you'd rather own a Camaro. Good luck with that.

Your mind is like a drunk toddler.

Weren't you talking about a Senna? Now you have brought up wildly different models?? I don't think there has been a z28 in years. I am going to suggest therapy at this point. I hope you get better soon.

Bringing our now very weird thread to the top with some car porn from today.

A bunch of pictures from today. New slave cylinder to delete the CDV valve installed, as well as the center caps for my wheels and of course due to a shipping error, my front wheels are finally on.

Huge improvement in driving dynamics with a clutch that finally feels natural and a not soft/spongey anymore and I can finally full send clutch kicks as well as power shift the 1-2 and 2-3 and get a hard chirp and no grind. Then going to 275’s up front to 305’s in back really makes it feel great on the road.

With the suspension upgrades already done, this car feels perfect and nearly looks perfect.

Now it’s time to ditch the stock wing and get my Street Hunter installed.

We all know it was you changing the license plate that was the real MVP mod.

Very nice. How do you like your lowering springs? My car just hit the 1200-mile mark, so I finally experienced its full acceleration potential. The interior sound level is like not having cats. Here's a shot I took, just a few hours ago.

what exhaust mods do you have done? I have full active Autowerke exhaust, catted downpipe and catback. I have an appointment with a friend next week to get rid of the factory 3” neck down after the downpipe to make my full exhaust system 3.5” the full way.

I really love my MSS Height Adjustable Springs combined with Cusco sway bars. The car just feels “right” now. But the front end is so constantly communicating now that you almost appreciate that turning off sport mode also softens the steering and the damping also feels very different. I’m highly impressed that I can reasonably lower the car without ruining the dynamics or making the ride too rough, but also tightening it up significantly. I’d say it’s a more lively car now than even my 2020 M4 CS which is also lowered on MSS height adjustable springs.

I haven't done any. I didn't expect the piped in (fake) sound would be that loud at wide open throttle.
That's great that you are adding so many mods already. I have to space out mods after the $3500 PPF that was my top priority. A Lowering spring set is typically my first mod, although I guess the stock height came in handy when I needed to lift the car to a level height, which involves driving the car on home-made wooden ramps, jacking up the front, placing Rhino ramps under the tires, then doing the same in the rear. I had to check and add diff fluid because of its slow leak. My garage still stinks.😬

Oh yeah, I disabled that very quickly. Good on you for waiting till 1200 miles to hammer it. Mines been getting thrashed from time to time now for 4000 miles, and loving it. Most of them without working parking sensors. Thankfully my appointment is in two weeks and finally hopefully will be resolved

Welcome to BMW electro-mechanical land! You have definitely been taking advantage of your car with that many miles on it. Hopefully the replacements will last longer.

Looks better without the stripes. Or at least for what I have planned. I took them off today.

Way back in 1963, the C2 Corvettes came from the factory with a split rear window. In 1964, that partition was eliminated. Many 1963 owners had their windows replaced to look like the 64-67 model years. The "split" windows never returned. However, the small block split window coupe's value rose much faster than the 64 and newer cars values.

My opinion about the Supra graphics is that they instantly set the car apart from all non-45th anniversary Supras. When a BMW shop owner saw my car for the first time, he said the black graphics really goes well with the other black components. Of course, as they say, "To each his (or her) own"

I'm keeping the graphics! :)
