There's two sides to the "its not out yet" coin remember..

The idea, "the car isn't even out for another 6 months, so you cant be negative on it" is rubbish.
No, it's not.

Its very hypocritical to say on one hand "This car is so awesome that its the new messiah!",
whilst on the other, yell "but your not allowed to say its bad - its not out yet!"
Literally no one said that. The people buying it now like the way it looks and are satisfied by the numbers and will read reviews before pulling the trigger. If the reviews are bad, they can change their minds.

It is out, and there IS enough information out already that the majority have reached a valid opinion.
That majority opinion is simple - the car is unsatisfactory.
Can you drive it? Can you even sit in one if you found one? Did you read a review of the final production car? The reviews of the pre-production ones were mostly if not all positive.

The majority are either 12 year olds that can't even drive yet, BMW haters, Toyota purists, or people who can actually afford one but can't buy it due to peer pressure.

I would bet all those who are hating on it would love the car if it wasn't public knowledge that it's sharing the platform with the Z4.

Those who hate this car are vastly outnumbered by those who do like it.
If this displeases people, then i suggest they build a new site called "MkV haters" and have screened registrations for a safe-space.
This site isn't exclusively for those who think its not gods chariot.
FTFY

Attacking and bullying the detractors on here, including personally, with lies and BS on here isn't going to change that.
Attacking the MkIV and its ownership base with lies and BS on here isn't going to change that.
Trying to embellish the MkV as better than it is, using undeserved hype and and unearned Myth isn't going to change that.

This car has raised far too many valid points of concerns and questions - with no acceptable answers to the majority - If this were not the case, it wouldn't be attracting such negative attention overall.
I see the opposite. People who are against the MKV are trolling and shoving their opinions down people's throat. If you don't like the car don't buy it. It is literally that simple. You don't have to do anything else. Just close this page on your phone/pc and be on your merry way.

There is already very worrying "elitist attitude" forming in the upcoming MkV ranks, and despite this, Toyota will sell every single one of them.
Everyone here saying they will buy it is chill, no one claimed they're superior. If anything we have many who will buy it owning a previous gen Supra and praising them. Nothing wrong with some humor here and there. And yes, Toyota will sell every single one of them because they know what they're doing.

Yes, apparently. Seems like many people want to complain about a car which isn't even out. Despite being on a forum for said car.
The car is “out”, they’re taking money for it, journalists have driven it, orders are being processed, all of the parts are known...

Seems like the hardcore supporters of this car don’t like to acknowledge these aspects and use the whole “buh muh car not out yet”

It IS out. I have an order on one. Unfortunately. I plan on selling it on.

Just because a forum exists for a car (founded well before release) it doesn’t mean a huge portion of those people aren’t going to be disappointed. Myself included, although in fairness I was a long term viewer and only joined recently (and only because of the misinformation floating around)

It has been revealed and they are taking reservations for it but I wouldn't call it "out" yet. Nobody except the journalists that drove the PRE-PRODUCTION version have even managed to sit in it bar a few of the media at the reveal.

They also haven't taken any money for orders, all they have is a fully refundable reservation fee (in Europe) and once people can actually test drive the PRODUCTION version for the first time then they can still make the decision from there.

I'm looking forward to seeing proper full reviews of the production versions from respected journalists instead of taking the words of random people on the internet either singing it's praises OR condemning it before the first production cars are even off the line.

You ordered a car that you intend on selling firsthand? You just created a new tier for disrespect
No I put down a deposit on a car they hadn’t revealed yet as I was one of the fools (like many on here) that thought: “nah it might be good on release!” “The parts list probably isn’t accurate!” Or “this huge list of evidence that this car is terrible can’t be true!”

Honestly that was some of the stupidest optimism a person can have when the leaked information at the time proved it was a disappointment but now I’m fully aware I’m not interested. I was kidding myself.

There are a flurry of better cars for less on the second hand market, let alone the new market, so why not go for those. This car isn’t worth over £50k to me so I’m going to offer it up so someone else.

Nothing direspectful about that. The most disrespect has been from Toyota, Getting people to put down money on something that’s an overpriced dissapointmemt of a car.

.my point still stands, you aren't buying for the experience. You're buying to say you bought it, therefore new tier disrespect.

Are you dim?

What are you talking about? The experience of what? Getting ripped off?

That’s stupidity, not an “experience”

Also to add no respect has been earnt so none will be given

I'm still confused as to why, if so many of you hate it, why you're here. You obviously care that the car isn't what you wanted it to be, but bitching about it isn't going to change what Toyota did, or the minds of us who do like the car.

That's awful nice of you. Will your offer to sell be for what you "invested" or will you be adding a "handling" or "broker's fee" charge to that figure?
