After email blasting 7 San Diego area dealers, one dealer actually provided me the VIN and info for their allocation. Wonder how they got theirs before everyone else...

A local dealer who already said recently on a google review the markup will be $25,000 posted this on their website implying it’s already here since the countdown keeps going negative

25k? Yeah, screw that noise.
When they texted me about it, they brought up the Supra that was auctioned off for six figures and claimed if someone was willing to bid that high someone would easily pay that much for a regular Supra as well.

I asked the sales manager for his drug dealer information.

And that, among other things, is why I don't go near Priority for anything. Dennis Elmer has lost his mind with that reasoning for the ADM.

Screw them! There are other dealers in the area willing to work without the ADM.

They must be sharing amongst the other dealerships. Like Town and Country. 5k nonrefundable down payment.

It’s simple, I take note of the dealerships local who’s greed takes ahold and I will bad talk them every chance I get to anyone in the car community

Oh, I have been. To make it worse, that's the dealership I bought my 86 from. I'd had all the work done on my car there, and had even yhought about trying to get a job at the dealership.

They're now dead to me.

Edit: got a call from Hendrick Toyota, I'm now #1 on their list. They're going to be calling me to place my deposit sometime next week, once they have their allocation.

So now I just need to figure if I want to sell my 86 privately (more money, more hassle) or to the dealership (less money, but much less hassle)

next time you talk to Hendrick, can you ask if they plan on selling all future allocations at MSRP? I'm trying to keep all options open. So far I'm #1 on the Charles Barker Toyota list but I have a feeling they are going to try and pull the sneak sneak on me.

Just as a note, if anyone doesn't want a launch edition, you should be able to order a standard car soon. Delivery should be before the end of the year, maybe as soon as September/October.

I had asked previously, and they said they always sell at MSRP. I'd give them a call, and ask to speak to Joe. John Larson is who I'd been using, but he's at the training thing today.

I heard standards were starting builds in July and coming in end of August for delivery

Late August and early September. I heard from a good source. They are in production now.

Do the dealership. Less tax burden since you are trading in.
