After reading through the forum on several threads, I'm hearing a lot about it being okay to push the OEM 275/35's forward and switch out he rear tires to 305/35's. There are some sliding scale factors that I was thinking are very relevant. One being wheel width and offset and whether a car has been lowered and, specifically, by how much. there seems to be conflicting information online about how much a car is "actually" lowered on several manufacturers. Eibach has had different versions of (essentially) the same spring set. And whether a car has a manual or automatic transmission can effect how far it is actually lowered.

With all this in mind, I appreciate all the dialogue and pro 305/35 voices. But I am hoping for some guidance from members who are 275/35 up front, 305/35 rear tires with:

Width of Wheels?
Offsets?
Front Suspension Dropped How Much?
Rear Suspension Dropped How Much?
Any rubbing Front and / or Rear?

I went 285/35 (Kumho Ecsta Sport S) on the rear and got rubbing with H&R springs with 15mm spacer. 13mm spacer got rid of 90% rubbing but had to go 10mm to fit completely.

Was it rubbing on the outer edge?

How much of a drop do the H&R springs lower the car in front and in back?

Outer edge yea. Certainly liveable but spirited drives during turns or medium potholes would hit. Believe they claim .75" but I have a MT and it drops even less.

265/35 up front on stock wheels as well. No issues with 13mm spacers

Te37 sl, 19x9.2 +22 fronts / 19x10.5 +35 rears, HKS adjustable lowering springs stock height settings out of box

Nitto R2 305/35/19 from my understanding majority with similar setup will rub but once it break them in it'll stop

nitto g2 265/35/19 fronts no rubbing, ive heard 275 and 285 rubs on the fender liner or the plastic cover from the engine bay

Thanks for the info. Sounding like the 275/35’s would be a bad call with my 1-inch drop up front

It also depends on tire selection. The 200tw class tires are usually a bit oversized compared to higher tw tires with same listed size. The oem michelin 275 will likely fit with no issue.

I'd like to stay with Michelin but open to Nitto.
My car is lowered 1" in front and 0.7" in back and incoming wheels are 19x9.5 +22 & 19x11 +35.

Staying with michelin is fine except if you go with a cup2 you have to watch the actual size being larger than listed size.
