The video more or less confirmed my suspicion that the pony cars (Mustang, Challenger, Camaro) were the benchmark for the Z, not the Supra.

I'll wait til the embargo lifts before coming to any conclusions; other than the fact that this VR sounds better than a GT-R, but still sounds like a vacuum cleaner. Oh and the front fascia on these cars is not very nice.

Back when they were doing drift demos of the "new" Z in Japan, it already looks like it corners like a land yacht, and yes the one they used for the demo was the Performance pack version, I can only imagine the base version is going to be an absolute mess to drive, like the muscle cars from decades ago.

Let's be real here, the Z isn't going to be killing any 3.0 GR Supras, it's real competitors on the track are the 300 something hp hot hatchbacks like the GR Corolla and CTR, the Z stretching its lead on the straights but then those 2 reel it back in under braking and cornering.

it’s a 350Z with a body kit and infinity engine swap in it.This is a glorified cash grab for Nissan at the Enthusiast Expense.

I can bet that the Manual won’t be that much better.

The Supra as it sits is an absolute Weapon on a Track.

I’ll be curious to see throttle house do a review. I have a hard time believing most YouTubers when it comes to driving dynamics etc because no matter what it’s about views for the most part and since the Z is the next “big thing” most YouTubers will probably hype it up so much. Someone like vehiclevirgins and stuff are just not “trustworthy” as an accurate representation
