Haven’t been able to find the answer to this:
I like using manual mode w/ paddles for all of my track sessions, however as laps progress and corners get faster / harder - the shifter will pop out of the manual mode and back into full auto screwing up where I want the revs to be due to full auto takeover / auto upshift. Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening without having to hold the shifter to the left? Am I missing something?

Use a pic hanger strip and rubber band or equilivant
I was going to do something to this extent just didn’t know if there was something that didn’t look so homemade lol.

I think xhp keeps you in gear/manual? Not sure.

I also heard the M-DCT shifter from the F87, or the M-ZF shifter from the X3/5M don’t kick you out of gear. I haven’t done the swap myself though so I can’t confirm that.

I very rarely track my Supra, (only three times) and when I have I have not experienced getting kicked out of gear. Only once on a long road trip on 8th. Not sure if there’s a way to repeatedly test getting kicked out of manual.

This is a little old but I made this to pop into the shifter while in manual. I've printed in ASA and seems to work well. Doesn't allow you to use the up / down at the shifter but figured everyone uses paddles anyway.
