Best exhaust systems in the market??

Speed Industry has had the fastest turnaround times for me. I’ve ordered from everyone, it feels like. SI has even reached out and called me just to say the my black tip AWE track exhaust was on back order and gave me the option for the chrome instead, with credit. My reply, oh hell yes!!!!!! It was great not waiting. So they have been my 1st choice ever since. A90 makes you do a chat (lower right corner) to ask when and why something is delayed. Speed Industry I can call and get a live person or email. My 2 cents

2 Stupid questions for all you exhaust experts:
1) Anyone know if the AWE track removes the “valves” or whatever it’s called. If I even have it. I don’t know if it was part of my original exhaust is why I’m asking. I’d prefer not to have them or turn it off.
2) Any easy way to turn off the amplified stereo exhaust? If that’s a thing with our cars. Thought I read it somewhere. If so, hitting the mute button would make sense. I’d just prefer to keep her natural.

TLDR; your mileage may vary with the MBRP setup. In the happy case, it sounds incredible and the carbon tips look great.

Unfortunately, I developed tons of different issues with the MBRP exhaust. Between a terrible rattle on cold start and terrible fitment, I cannot recommend buying one for your MKV. However, their support team was very helpful and responsive.

With the valves open, my setup was VERY loud; I was pulled over three times--in the state of Alabama--for my exhaust noise levels. Granted, I did have a catless down pipe--meaning straight pipes with valves open.

SP1R shipped Wednesday evening and tracking showed Monday arrival yesterday. Well today I was swapping my TEs for my oem/allseason setup, when I see UPS pull up. Figured wife ordered something….nope, was exhaust!!

what can I say…amazing exhaust quality, sounds insane. Driving thru neighborhood in Normal around 15-20mph, it’s pretty quiet still. Switch it to Sport and it’s a completely different beast mated to AA catted downpipe. Went out for some pulls and I think I was smiling the whole time. Did it in garage all alone with SP1R messaging thru process with pics. Even video chatted with me while underneath to verify everything was aligned properly to avoid any rattles. Huge thanks to SP1R team.

Big single into a muffler on the quiet side and nothing on the valved side. Are there others using this design?

Borla: 3.5" into 3"

AFE: 3" into 2.5"

MAP performance: Full 3.5"
Can't find much info on this one

VR Racing 3.5" to 3"
Appears to be junk
