I went with the AP Racing front and rear from Essex. Gave up the parking brake, removed the actuater and then secured them so no parking brake light. Ferodo pads. The car finally feels connected and there is linear brake feel. I felt that the stock brakes gave really strong braking but as you eased off the brake when trail braking, there was a point that the rear brakes suddenly seemed to engage. Didn't upset the car but it did make for more slowing than necessary. No issue with the AP racing setup, firm pedal with great feel and the feel remains linear as you trail brake and ease off the brake. Cannot recommend it enough.

Apologies for bringing this back from the dead... but @jorligan I'm curious what pad compound did you go with for the AP kit?

I was considering the R1 Concept bbk F&R. But after reading this I'm reconsidering. Maybe just stick with the AP's. Anyone have bad experience with tracking R1 BBK?
I don't know about BBK from R1... the topic was specific to their pad.. ;)

Does anyone know what is required to upgrade a US model to the ROW/Euro front brake set up for the 2.0?

Thanks - Dave

I've used pagid rsl29 on my similar weighted evo x for competition and for daily. Will be getting the same pads for the A90 as well

Just noticed this. I know this works on G20, etc. but assume you also need corresponding caliper? Also wondering if you then also need the right master cylinder.

Getting an order in for Stoptech Trophy Sport 380x32mm, in their newer nickel finish. Looking forward to less ridiculous pad changes

I want to stay stock calipers but would like pads that don't spread black dust all over.

i doubt it since it seems like its the same caliper but bigger... as long as the pistons aren’t bigger the master cylinder shouldn’t need to be changed out
