Description:

Dinan High Flow Drop-in Replacement Filters are a direct upgrade to your factory intake system and will instantly provide better flow to assist your engine in achieving maximum performance and efficiency!

While factory paper filters function admirably, they can be restrictive to performance goals given the material used. They also require being replaced numerous times during the lifespan of the vehicle which can add up to a substantial amount in maintenance costs. Limited performance and increased maintenance costs are never ideal but can be resolved effectively and economically in the case of filters. Dinan High Flow Drop-in Replacement Filters are constructed of 4 layers of cotton gauze that allow better flow and less pressure drop than the stock media. This equates to the engine not needing to work as hard to make the same, or more power. Additionally, the use of oiled cotton media means that the Dinan filters are washable/re-usable while still retaining excellent filtration and ensuring your engine runs clean for the duration.

When upgrading to a complete Dinan intake system for best performance, is not available, possible, or within the budget, Dinan High Flow Drop-in Replacement Filters have you covered!

Features/Benefits:
  • Less restrictive and better flowing than stock allowing maximum engine performance and efficiency
  • Direct replacement for stock air filter
  • 4 layers of proprietary high flow oiled cotton gauze material for exceptional filtration
  • Washable and reusable for the life of the engine
  • Quick and easy installation

I'm giving it a try. Had seen some data that drop ins are good for 5-10whp, and I want to keep the lower IATs of stock airbox.
Plan on dyno'ing? Any other mods to your intake like res deletes and turbo inlet?

not in the immediate future, I'd be more likely to get a Dragy first tbh.

Intake is completely stock. Car is just catless and JB4.

Yeah I've actually seen one dyno test where a stock Camaro SS that gained about 8 hp on a K&N panel filter. I think people are really downplaying the drop-in HF filters.

Running a catless downpipe without a tune is just asking for trouble. I doubt anyone could even notice the additional 5-6 horsepower to be honest. Snakeoil without a proper tune.

Not to derail this thread, but I am tuned for the downpipe. Kenji is a good combination with a JB4 that can tune for the downpipe but not clear CEL.
