Man this has been haunting me lol, I live in jersey and I saw the bulky ass monstrosity for the plate and I'm just like nope. I don't think front plates were even thought of with our cars.

I live in NJ and the dealer did not even want to put a from plate holder on the car lol. I will not put a front plate on my car either.

This really depends on how the cops are in your area. You can always get one of the non-permanent tow hook mounts.

I didn't run front plates for years on my 370Z, but after getting pulled over for like the 5th time for it I decided it wasn't worth the hassle and got a tow hook mount.

I sometimes see people with their front plate on their dashboard, in the front window. I've always been curious if that actually works or not. Legally, its not compliant - but still might be "good enough" to avoid getting pulled over frequently.

I personally went with the Sto-N-Sho. It’s easy to install, and takes a few seconds to remove for a clean look, and to put back for law-compliance.

When I bought my Supra, the dealership had attached the front license plate holder on the nose of the car -- we need to run fronts in WA and I was considering swapping to the tow hook option. Anyone have pictures of how the holes look on the bumper and any estimates on how much it would cost to get them filled or the bumper replaced?

That sucks the dealership drilled the holes. However, the OEM location doesn't look half bad. (HKS CAR)

I know it's a matter of time before I get popped for not running my front plate. (California!)

It's more that I like how the Cusco tow hook option looks more than OEM.
