But to answer it here, I use a Uniden R8 and it's great and has saved me from several tickets already (not driving like a dumbass, like doing 15 over on a highway or empty back road and knowing Tampa Bay police and Florida state troopers are absolutely ravenous dogs for handing out tickets to sports car owners) - I do not have it wired up fancily or hardwired though just through the included cable hanging freely.

I just made an appointment with Best Buy Auto Install and provided them with a rear-view mirror tap kit. Thirty minutes and $79 later, good to go.

v1, blendmount, mirrortap. I use this in both of my cars with waze. I haven't had a ticket in nearly 20 years using a v1.

Uniden R7 here and has been amazing. It saved me from muiltiple tickets already.

Using a MAX360 with blend mount on my Supra since taking ownership 6yrs ago. My car is a 2020, not a 2026, so not sure if I matter..

I have been using an Uniden R4. I love it. I started with an R1 and it was the best as far as distance concerned over cobras and valients I have used. I upgraded to a R3 and it was also good but not better. I then went to a R4. The R4 is nice for the auto mute feature but it can get you in trouble if a cop is sitting in the same place all the time. I have decided not to hit the mute button as much when there is an actual cop to keep this from happening. No tickets yet, but the cops will flip their radars off and on to catch guys like us....still gotta be weary and don't go too much over.
