I already asked, he is being Razorlab and collecting data.
I'm kind of hoping it didn't do much because I'm too afraid to cut my hood ?

On a real note, how do you determine where to place it on the hood? I would almost think we'd want that mounted further back towards the hot side of the turbo?

Random question, which location(s) behind the bumper house the rad(s) for the intake manifold?

I do way too many highway miles no sir want something a little more sedate.
Keep your alignment at spec and you’ll be fine with any tire you choose. Those Kumos really look like a nice sticky bargain.

There is a nice video on the thread "Speed Engineering CAI duct that shows you clearly. The OEM intake opening sits on the inside of the passenger headlamp opening into the space behind the top half of the bumper fascia. Their duct extends the OEM intake toward the middle above the high pressure area where the radiator is exposed to air and then they cut a hole down thru the floor of the shroud to access that high pressure area. They show data of lower IATs (at least 5-15 degrees) even after the OEM manifold gets heat soaked several laps into a lapping session. If true there is potential with this approach. I proposed on the thread cutting holes from the high pressure area up into the space the OEM intake draws from essentially extending the high pressure area and leaving it at that without a duct. Might get the same results.

Good point. I will be increasing front camber but could leave the Toe alone. BTW The wear on the rears is not that uneven might just leave the camber in back as is.

He was asking about where the heat exchanger for the intake manifold is located.

It’s part of the radiator stack in the front. It’s the front radiator right behind the trans cooler.

Amazing event at Lime Rock Park today. Private event by Metro Track Addicts. 4 hours of hot open track. No run groups. 30 cars. 75* with 21% humidity on August 1st in the NorthEast. Amazing.

CRS V2 tires continue to delight me. I dropped half a second today (On a 1.5 mile course) and still dealing with some heavy understeer in some corners at Lime Rock. I have higher rate springs I am going to install in the rear but I wanted to do a Lime Rock day with the CRS V2 and no other changes to see what they could do compared to the V1. I'm pretty confident once I dial out the understeer in the car I will hit my 0:56 lap time goal this year.

High speed or low speed under steer? I would do damper adjustments before a rate change.

Also any data on the hood scoop yet?

How the hell does your track car look brand new and photo shoot ready at the track?!?! I‘m in on CRS V2 tires if I can find them in my size and not terribly pricier than the Victra RC1. Those temp and track conditions ? That’s our “winters” down here. Keep it up, Great feedback Bryan!

Mid speed. 70-90mph. I have played with damper adjustments for a couple events now. Have only made very small improvements to the issue.

Want a couple more events of data before I post about the hood scoop.

Lol, I do take pride in keeping my cars clean. I usually wash them before events but this time I just did a quick wipe down. For all the beating my cars get from track events, I feel the least I can do is keep them clean.

My last track car was kept very clean as well:

CRS v2s are definitely faster than RC-1s, but heatsoaks after 3 hot laps
Thx brother! The RC-1s have a newer version out as well. RC-1 (R2), which is confusing but feel like it’s a major improvement. Love your guys take on the CRS V2s!

Just ordered another set of the V730s to install before Watkins Glen. 4X tires just under $1K.

I'm going to try and get 3 more track days out of my first set, but I want fresh tires for The Glen. Love these tires.
