why not go up to the new pure900?
the transmission will not fail so fast, and you will have a lot of more potential for the future if you will decide to upgrade.

Things are getting spicy end of the season but I think it's time for a larger turbo because I am running the Pure700 pretty hard at +90 WGDC. I have to say though, it has been a trooper, two track seasons being run hard, 50+ track days and taking it all.

The peeps that are curious (love you!) will see that the Compressor turbine power is so close in this log. Will update the self tuning thread soon!

I think I might send in my OEM core for a Pure800 and maybe? some S58 injectors to get this party going. I really do not want to lay down $6k plus for a trans upgrade though.
If you were to charge 1$ for every reply that you posted to each one of us, your transmission upgrade would have been taken care of cost free ? #Razor Fee.
(Just kidding)

This is just a deep Thank you for the time and effort that you put in to provide the invaluable information that massively helps everyone in the community.

@razorlab Yeah man. Seriously though it’s not a crazy idea. I’m here for it. People might get mad at me for saying this because right now you’re free of charge with all you can eat delicious sarcasm but I’m kinda serious…

If you had a gofundme or some kind of voluntary “pay razorlab for science” fund for posts that you’re planning I would totally be supporting it to see what your results are.

Alternatively if you had razorlab merch or something I would totally buy a hoodie and/or a hat (I collect hats anyway) or like a keychain or lanyard or something like that to support you. Plus “@razorlab” or “#razorlab” or “Razorlab Motorsports Science” are pretty cool branding ideas. You could do a lot with that.

They don't make the 900 in 2 port yet. Not sure I want to lose so much response too.

I'm glad some of what I post helps, thanks!

Hahha, I appreciate it. Half the fun of sharing things for me is not doing it for the money so everyone has access to it. I come from a platform that had very open knowledge sharing and want that for this platform as well. Most of the info is super walled off right now.

If anyone is curious, I pretty much maxed out my stock injectors with:

Pure700
Dorch HPFP
E40-E43

Out of injector window at around 27-28psi 6500rpm+

I just realized that you have the Dorch HPFP. Would love to hear if you go S58 injectors and which turbo you move on to and the results. I'm getting the injectors and HPFP soon but have been doing circles on which damn turbo to get with all the seperate issues.

OEM charge pipe decided to leave the chat at the track today. Good thing it was the last session of my last event of the year. Luckily I was able to limp the car home.

You should talk to the installer! JK, that’s amazing you’re able to get so much power out of her and keep it running on track. Can’t wait to see how she does next year ??

Installed a do88 charge pipe to replace my blown apart OEM one.

I give the do88 charge pipe a 9/10 on fitment, 9/10 on finish and 8/10 on QC. There were some metal shavings and some bits of metal hanging off the tapped threads inside that I had to do a quick file pass on so there would be no possibility of ingestion.

Looks great!

What are your feelings on the VTT silicone charge pipe?
