Had the DMC updated today, and no problems. Took almost 2 hours. My supra is stock 2021. Just had to redo memory function for seat, time, 1-8 push buttons. Double checked everything other than this everything still the same. All media presets were the way I had them set.
519 to 530.

Just had the DCM update performed on my 2023 as I was getting a Battery Management warning every time I didn't drive the car for more than a day or two. The dealership claimed this would fix it, and so far, it seems to have of.

Presets all cleared and lost my Bimmercode programing (auto stop/start, start in sport mode, etc.).

So I do want to make a quick note just being as it has been 3+ weeks or so since I had the recall performed.

I coded the car to start in sport mode on each start up now that the coding to have auto start/stop disabled was not working. I have not had a single issue with throttle hesitation at all or any weird throttle problems in general which is a plus.

Guessing getting everything updated must have fixed the throttle hesitation problem!

I just took my 2023 Premium in and they told me that they could not do the update because I do not have OEM seats and it will not update with out those connected. (I still get the warning messages for the seats when I turn on the engine).

Anyone else run into this issue?

I do not have any tunes, so I am not concerned about loosing any mappings.

This is correct. ISTA will fail because of that. When I did all the updates, I put my OEM seats back in. Was my "day at the gym".

I've been thinking about what I would need to make an extension so if I wanted to do any updates in the future, I wouldn't have to literally swap the seats out. I could just place them next to the car and plug in extension harnesses.

Anything else they won’t ”like” if I take it in for the update? Stock seats but lots of suspension parts, catless dp, aftermarket exhaust, CEL on the dash, etc. I‘m guessing it’s not even worth my time.

Edit: Realize I just need to go in and chat with them and make sure they are not going to lift the car, see parts that don’t match and freak out. I’ll definitely ask if I can stick around while they do it. Prefer the car not turning into a brick when they’re done. Faith in my local dealership = slim to none :fear:

Quick revisit: the car is working fine. I use Apple CarPlay, why would I do this?

had my July 2023 built 3.0 recall done in 3 hours, no issues with the recall itself. I don't notice the throttle hesitation to be any better, the only times i noticed before was either coming off the brakes at a stop sign and going back on the throttle or slowly rolling thru a stop sign (low speed, brake then gas situation)

Seems like the 24s don't have to worry about this? I haven't been notified or anything. Also to everyone else about the loss of coding out auto start/stop the only 2 ways around it now (24s came with this issue) is code in start in Sport like said above or buying and running the xHP TCU tune which I use.

I understand throttle hesitation but on my 2020, when I hit the throttle, there is no hesitation. My wife can attest to this as she is thrown back in her seat and starts drooling. She doesn't like the Supra, I do. lol
