For what it's worth, Botti said a catless dp on the stock turbo on 93 adds maybe 20-30hp from his experience. He said it's just not worth it unless you're upgrading the turbo. He and I both come from Subarus where an aftermarket dp makes a HUGE difference, but he said the B58 isn't anything like that.

I really have no data to back that claim up other than Botti is what I would consider a subject matter expert on the platform. ?‍♂
20-30 hp is amazing for spending $400 or so on a catless downpipe.

My 2020 put down about 350hp/360ft*lbs on the stock tune.

Stage 1 with literally zero mods other than the dyno tune was about 420hp/480ft*lbs when he was done.

When I discussed future upgrades with my tuner he recommended a Pure-800 with a downpipe and a manifold. He said those mods will get me to about 550whp on a comfortable, safe tune. I'm not interested in methanol or ethanol so he recommended a turbo upgrade.
Yes but I have a 22 so more hp stock than you did. I'm coming from the 6 port side of things.

My local tuner said for 2021+, a catless DP and OTS tune on 93 will land me in the 450whp/490wtq range depending on the exact car and such. I think some of these other replies are referring to 2020 models
This sound about right for a 6-port from what I've seen.

If I could spend $400 for 20-30 HP on my little NA Porsche I wouldn't have purchased the Supra lmfao.

I think it's important to remember the percentages we're talking about here. 25 HP on my 250 HP stripped out Cayman that weighs about 2800 lbs with her fatass driver (me) is a 10% increase and that's huge. 25 HP on my 420HP, 3600 lb. (with driver) Supra is a ~6% increase, which on my finely calibrated butt dyno (being very sarcastic here) is barely noticeable.

I am NOT chasing numbers on my car. I'm only looking to optimize performance/$$.

I also live in a state where you're taking a huge risk running a catless car (the state police will pull you over for a smelly sports car here), so a catted DP is really my only option.

Air breathers also appreciate catted DPs on DDs :)
I ran my old STi catless for 12 years lol. Around town in Denver I never felt bad about it because compared to the nasty diesel 18-wheelers, busses, dually diesels, trains, giant SUVs, factories, coal fired powerplant, etc. it was a very small drop in the bucket.

I visited a few national parks in the car and felt like a complete asshole.

I now live in the woods in a place that takes emissions pretty seriously. I don't really have any interest in a catless downpipe, but I really don't care what other people do. My neighbor has a heavily modified truck that he enjoyed rolling coal with that was pretty awesome...until the police showed up at his house and arrested him. Cops in unmarked cars don't think rolling coal is very funny I guess. He ended up selling his truck at a huge loss and buying a jeep.

How are you making those numbers when literally everyone is saying it would require mods and meth or ethanol to get there? I'm not calling bs or anything, I'm genuinely intrigued.
406 WHP? People are saying you need meth or ethanol to make 400 whp?

JB4 map 2 will map that lol

This is mine with only 93 Octane with custom Ecutek tune only on a 2020. I don’t consider charge pipe and intake (Gruppe M) mods.
Perfect example of people only looking at peak numbers and not at the actual curves. What is going on with that tune that you lose 165whp/275wtq so quickly from 4250 to 5500 rpm??? That looks horrible.

Do you have a turbo restrictor like Group B rally or something?

This has blown up significantly more than I expected it to. I appreciate everyone contributing their advice/experience on the subject. I suppose the platform and how it responds to mods is just different than what I'm used to, and that isn't a bad thing, it's just different. But now I have some solid ideas on what options to take going foreward.

At least I know mid 400's is doable on the stock turbo, probably a good idea to shoot for there and see how the car feels.

I let off of the gas. Trooper was in on the side of the road. Before you go run your smart ass mouth, know the facts first. Lol ?
