Easy to identify. The US ones are black steel and a whole cage, EU are raw aluminum and just L brackets

Screenshot 2025-09-14 at 9.54.33 AM.webp

EU part #'s:

Bottom brackets
FL: 52145WAA01
FR: 52146WAA01

Top brackets
FL: 52144WAA01
FR: 52143WAA01

Top smaller brackets
FL: 52149WAA01
FR: 52148WAA02
Thank you, you absolute legend. Added the parts up and it's about $605 for all 6 parts. Quite a bit cheaper than picking it up from phd racing. Solid ROI, considering where that weight sits. Now just need to make sure that i don't already have the EU brackets...

Ok so checked the radiator bracket setup on our cars here. This isn't my car (just somebody's getting worked on), but it's going to be the same as mine. This doesn't look like either the US or EU one. It's aluminum, but this absolutely doesn't look like it weighs 1.5lbs per side. Doesn't look as flimsy as the EU one either

At some point will do this properly by weighing everything, but at first glance this is a bit weird.

That is 100% the EU version.

That does indeed look identical. But then the next question I have is....then are we sure that the one that phd is selling and that weighs a claimed and combined 3.3lbs for both side is the same as the EU version? I know I'm just eyeballing it for now (will def weigh), but damn that does look a bit thicker than I was expecting

Edit: basically has someone here either bought an EU version to confirm, or has an EU member weighed theirs?

It's aluminum so probably not that far off. I mean, the whole front lower support bar I replaced felt like it weighed nothing.

You’d be surprised. Most things these days are hollow and weight nothing. But when a crash comes everything is jacked up lol

Thanks guys. I'm sure it's just my mind playing tricks on me. Will still weigh when i can just to get that monkey off my shoulder, but i'm not gonna think about it for now because you guys are probably right that it's the EU one

Got some work done before my track session later today

Subframe inserts are on. Subframe didn't need to be completely dropped. No incremental NVH...i say incremental because i already have motor/trans mounts on. Nothing changed NVH wise, but can't comment on whether they'd add any NVH from an OEM baseline

Titan Motorsports Titanium exhaust is on to replace the ARK DTS. 30bs lighter than OEM, and valved. No info online on whether it would fit the Verus diffuser, so we eyeballed it, assumed it probably would and bought the exhaust. It fits, with some trimming. Looks closer to the diffuser than it is IRL, so no it's not touching or going to touch under load. Misleading angle

PXL_20250918_125705292.webp

Discovered that my Nankangs were corded last night. I'm still on OEM wheels, and there's a massive shortage of 19 inch 200tw tires here. And i had no time, so i had to settle for a insanely expensive option to make it in time for my track day. Cup2, which set me back more than $2K for the set. They're fast tires, but not CRS fast by any means

Ok i'm good with whatever you believe in, but i personally don't do the sky daddy thing. But if i did, this would've been en emphatic sign that he/she/it is not a fan of me. I've been waiting for my 18 inch made-to-order wheels from Japan since Feb. Less than an hour after ordering those eye-wateringly expensive but not elite 19 inch tires, i get a call from the shop saying my wheels will be in soon. 18 inch 200tw are easy to find here....and obv half the price of the ones i bought. FFS...

Which subframe insert is that? did you feel any difference on the street at all?
I wonder how effective is the diffuser when the bottom of our car isnt completed flat/enclose.

This whole section here is open but then GT4 car is even more open

interesting that you should ask that now....Verus just uploaded a video on instagram yesterday i believe explaining how the diffuser works harder with "dirty" air, even if the the overall downforce isn't as good due to not having a flat bottom.

I have the hardrace inserts. Can't really tell on the street. will have an answer today as i'm off to the track. interestingly though, i DID actually feel a difference on the street with the diff brace

You ain’t kidding. That’s quite a difference from even our super car winters down here. We have a few but nothing like that. Not to mention, no GR86 or MX5s at your event ?!? 😂 A few Supras out there amongst those hypercars. But that was about it…

Catless + titan titanium exhaust sounds great. I never actually care about what the car sounded like until now.

Sounds pretty good!

Being catless + titanium i would have expected a lot more rasp.

Yeah I've been pleasantly surprised. Here's another vid, albeit not as clear because there's no fancy mic like like in the other one
