You should be in luck. An 8-speed automatic is supposedly in development for the GR Yaris. If so that means it'll undoubtedly become an option on later model year GR Corollas.I need an automatic and I'll trade mine for it
From what was being hinted at in the video reveal event when speaking with the chief engineer, the third exhaust, despite being a visual thing, may also have something to do with reducing back-pressure in order to raise boost pressure and horsepower for production...One thing I don’t like. Toyota pick one, dual exhaust or centre exit. Not both

^^ ...and maybe this too although it might have just been a cheeky joke (or not a cheeky joke) from the presenter in the plaid shirt.^^ My guess it will have a dual mode exhaust with center being loud mode.
I already have one of these, it's called a GTI (minus the AWD)This is certainly an exciting release though with EV's seemingly taking up all of the press for new vehicle launches.
I believe the spec stated it’s estimated to weigh in at 3249 lbs.You Toyota fanatics are something... and hats off to Toyota for releasing a Hot Hatch in a dying ICE world.
BUT, as one of the Supra owners that came from the BMW/euro side; I would rather buy a used AMG a45 if I wanted a hot hatch (which i don't)
I really don't get where people will think this is better as a track car than a Supra?
PS, what are they saying this will weigh?
AMG A45 isn't available in the US. I also doubt they ever came with a manual. You Toyota fanatics are something... and hats off to Toyota for releasing a Hot Hatch in a dying ICE world.

For us in the US right now its really WRX, Golf R, and now this for an AWD manual *fun* car, remove the WRX if we want hatch.AMG A45 isn't available in the US. I also doubt they ever came with a manual.
Yeah, that's my only issue with the car.. it would be perfectly fine with the Dual exhaust, the USB Type C in the middle isn't needed at all lolOne thing I don’t like. Toyota pick one, dual exhaust or centre exit. Not both

I don’t know… To me a 300hp 3-cylinder AWD 5 seater hatchback that shares a lot of its components with an entry-level (albeit a great entry-level) car is hard to compare to a ~400hp inline-6 RWD 2 seater coupe with a BMW-level interior. We're about to see a lot of used GR Supra go up for sale lol
