I also refuse to use my horn unless it's an emergency, just haven't bothered looking into swapping it.

I haven't used my horn yet. I saw the other thread on installing the BMW part (thanks for that), which I may do one day because the horn is my second favorite way of communicating with other drivers. My favorite is sign language.

Back in my motorcycling days, some of my bikes had little weenie meep, meep horns that no one could hear, so I would put on some monster aftermarket honkers that would wake up even the most inattentive distracted texting soccer mom. Full disclosure: I married a soccer mom.

So maybe I'll do that instead, as it would likely cost about 1/3 of that gen-you-wine BMW part.
