Wasn't their Supra a 2021?

He said it was a 2020 supra. Does anyone know if he had the stock turbo or was in a different one?

All, that is impressive! Bearings, chambers, heads looked ridiculous good. My built LSX cost as much as my supra, including turbo, and I'm pushing close to 24 lbs on a 427ci. With the different fuels and a 100 shot on top of it is amazing. Freeze frame the bearings and journals.....amazing. this new BMW I6 may rival old Toyota engines of lore. Just saying. Pretty impressive.

I love seeing that this engine can handle so much abuse on stock internals. Iā€™m curious to see whatā€™s the absolute limit to the B58ā€™s. So Adam mentioned ā€œthe engine looks like it practically left the assembly line.ā€ Which I have no doubt it does. Iā€™m certainly no seasoned mechanic, but is the scuff on the bearing normal?

That's not a scuff.. that's the paint from the printed barcode wearing off. BMW placed barcodes on every part in this car.

Just so people are aware. One of the first things Titan recommends is changing the oil for a thicker spec if youā€™re planning to beat on it. I think my. buddy said they used 40 weight series on this engine. My buddy goes to the shop all the time and he told me to change the oil.

Do they have any specific recommendations?
